Also, if you're trying to add him to your party, heroes (which is what M.O.X. is) don't physically follow you around town. Once you unlock a hero, you can press the Add Hero blue drop-down thingy in your party window to add them to your party. --Dragon Nataku 15:40, 16 December 2009 (UTC)

Buying a guild

Fire Imp and Game of the year edition

I have the game of the year edition and when i type /bonus all i get are the weapons but no stone to get my fire imp. Please help. I have two lvl 20 characters but the character im trying to get the stone on is only lvl 11. Any character, including level 20 characters, can create an Igneous Summoning Stone, but only characters below level 20 can use it to summon a Fire Imp. i checked that stuff and as of my knowledge i have all the right requirements and when i go to the online store to see if i need to buy the upgrade it says that i have already purchased it so is there anything else i can do?

Dual-monitor setup

Is there a way to force a second monitor to remain active while GW is open? I can't seem to switch monitors while I have GW open, I have to alt-tab. –Jette 09:25, 18 December 2009 (UTC)

Vanquishing Zen Daijun (explorable area)

how come i cant vanquish Zen Daigun, i beat mish in hm, and my icon is gold, but i get no credit for it --76.20.109.64 20:25, 20 December 2009 (UTC)

The mission icon (big helmet) is gold after completing Zen Daijun mission. To vanquish the Zen Daijun (explorable area), you have to enter that area from Seitung Harbor by talking to Guard Lae Fao. 76.164.111.57 20:35, 20 December 2009 (UTC)

Stuck idems

Not much you can do. If it's a mission, if you complete it fast enough, any items still assigned to you will be offered upon your next entrance to an outpost. If it's an explorable area, make sure you're trying every possible avenue of approach. Otherwise, just forget about your bad luck and next time, try waiting until the monsters climb out of the tree before killing them. -- FreedomBound 18:26, 22 December 2009 (UTC)

After a mission, usually the items you don't pick up are accessable through a pop up box when you reach the next outpost depending on how much time has passed between the drop and the completion of the area.--*Yasmin Parvaneh* 18:28, 22 December 2009 (UTC)

Mac compatibility

According to the game box, you need Windows. But that is normally just a recommendation. Try it and find out. You can always remove it later if you want. -- Lacky 12:42, 23 December 2009 (UTC)

I've been trying to use the links you gave...however, whenever I log in, my download doesn't show any progress, even after 24 MB of data...whats going on?I've even used the factions disc to try to help, but it doesn't seem like it did anything. Reserving GW2 Names

Updating the game

hello, I was wondering if the game updates every year does the game change it's difficulty? Or every time the game is updated does the missions, farming or quests get more difficult? Please reply to this. Thank you 99.252.163.223 15:33, 24 December 2009 (UTC)

The game updates almost every month, but those updates are generaly minor fixes for bugs or minor changes for some skills. The dificulty is rarely affected by those updates.--Sharkinu 15:46, 24 December 2009 (UTC)

When they make changes to skill functionality it can have the affect of making things seem more difficult since they work differently, but those updates haven't happened often. -- Wyn talk 16:24, 24 December 2009 (UTC)

600 Monking

See 600. Starter armor (if possible) or 15 AL armor. Also, you must have the skills Protective Spirit and Spirit Bond. You'll probably need the skills Shield of Absorption, Balthazar's Spirit, Essence Bond, Spell Breaker, Arcane Echo, different 600 builds need different skills. → balistic ← 15:52, 25 December 2009 (UTC)

qwerty/azerty configuration

Hi, today GW suddenly decided to recognize my keyboard as a qwerty one, while it has always been an azerty O__O I don't remember hitting any special key that would have changed that, but I know it's not the keyboard because outside GW it still works as an azerty^^ Anyone as a suggestion on how to revert that ? Ok so the same shortcut to change your keyboard layout is Ctrl+Shift+Space which is also the same to call a target. You can either change how you call targets or change your windows shortcut. Drogo Boffin 16:57, 26 December 2009 (UTC)

Nightfall Problem

So I have a problem. I bought Nightfall and regestered my account. Although I have not played it for not some time now, I have lost the disk. Since then I have bought a new computer. So I went online to download the client. When it was finished I signed into my account, but it is brought up as the original Guild Wars and not Nightfall. So when I tried playing it is wanting me to create a whole new character from the original game. In that case it has not let me access my character from Nightfall. The client is the same for all games and if I'm not mistaken all campaigns show up weither you purchased them or not. I know they used to not sure if that changed. Contact support. Drogo Boffin 02:51, 27 December 2009 (UTC)

does it really matter? I would like to think that it does. If your Unlucky Title seems to get higher than your unlucky title What does that effect? Viewing completed quests/Missions...

Is there any way to view which Quests/Missions each of my characters have completed? With multiple characters in four different worlds it is hard to remember who has done what. --Greggpatz 18:17, 28 December 2009 (UTC)

Beating Factions

Battle Isle

How can a newer character only in Ascalon get to the battle Isles for a purchased newer pet? My Character HAS just bought a guild hall but has not put anything in in yet... --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:T l nick (talk).

You should be able to travel to your Guild Hall and then GToB/Zaishen Menagerie. According to the Battle Isles article, you have to reach a port that will let you go there. Since you have Prophecies, you need to get to Lion's Arch before you can get to the Battle Isles. Sometimes you also have to complete a quest as well to get there. -- Lacky 03:39, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
