Artemis asks you to kill a cruel dwarf called Thorgrim Beastlasher.

Objectives[edit]
- Track down and destroy Thorgrim Beastlasher in Iron Horse Mine.
- Return to Artemis the Ranger for your reward.

Walkthrough[edit]
While walking through Traveler's Vale, you encounter Artemis the Ranger close to the Iron Horse Mine portal. Unless she was killed by a group of Stone Summit before you arrived, which only leaves you the choice to re-zone if you want to pick up the quest or reward from her.
Enter Iron Horse Mine and head north, you will find Thorgrim Beastlasher and his group soon. It is possible to pull Thorgrim alone without aggroing the group, but if not, be careful of their knock downs (e.g. Bull's Strike and Giant Stomp). Return to Artemis to receive the reward.

Initial dialogue[edit]
- Artemis the Ranger
- "These mountains can be a cruel place, and no creature personifies that cruelty more than the Stone Summit Dwarves. The Stone Summit go so far as to capture and bind the massive snow beasts of the Shiverpeaks to their will. Starved and enraged into a feral madness, these creatures carry the Dwarves into battle. The leader of these self-proclaimed Beastmasters is a foul Dwarf called Thorgrim Beastlasher. It would please Melandru if one of her Rangers would put an end to Thorgrim's depredations."
- "What say you, <Character name>? Are you up to the task?"
Accept: "For Melandru!"
Decline: "I am not ready for such a task."
Ask: "Thorgrim Beastlasher can be found in the area known as Iron Horse Mine to the north."
Intermediate dialogue[edit]
- Aidan: "Hello there, friends! You look like you could use a hand against these brutes."
- Aidan: "Melandru guide my bow!"
- Aidan: "Well fought! I hope you don't mind my interference. I've been scouting paths through these mountains for quite some time and yours are the first friendly faces I've seen. If you'll excuse me, I must continue onward. I promised Devona that I would meet her, and I'm late. Until we meet again, may Melandru guide you."
Reward dialogue[edit]

- "Thorgrim is dead, then? Well done! Perhaps some of these Beastmasters will abandon their trade when they hear of the justice Melandru brings to those who defile her domain. The Goddess must be pleased to know she has a mighty servant such as you to champion her cause."
Notes[edit]
- Combines well with the Helping the Dwarves quest arc since it leads you past Artemis to get to Rangil Ironbow and the mine where Minaar Stonesledge is being held is just a bit further down the path.
