My Opinions on Guild Wars Professions

Monk-icon.png Monk: Great profession. Essentially to any group (obviously) and one I expanded my skill/experience at the game with.

Warrior-icon.png Warrior: The best profession to learn the game with, in my opinion. However, while simple to begin with, they offer a satisfying learning curve for those who wish to continue with the profession.

Elementalist-icon.png Elementalist: Having been through 2 elementalists in my time, though I still enjoy the profession immensly and overall, their armour is good, if a little... sparse.

Ranger-icon.png Ranger: Also had a ranger for over a year, and enjoyed it. However they aren't really... specific enough for my liking, I like a little more direction with my professions.

Necromancer-icon.png Necromancer: Not my most played profession, I always keep coming back to the Necro for some reason. I love the skills of the profession and Nayl is the guy I just can't bring myself to delete.

Mesmer-icon.png Mesmer: Had one for a long time and kinda enjoyed it, but not my favourite- though obviously my alliance is full of 'em and would disagree.

Assassin-icon.png Assassin: I put off playing one in PvE for a looong time but after playing one in PvP for ages I finally bit the bullet and made one. Kyri is the most fun I have ever had in Guild Wars and I love the flexibility they have in terms of using other martial weapons. It's a shame they're not widely recognised as a decent PvE Profession by the majority of Pugs.

Ritualist-icon.png Ritualist: Recently remade one and rediscovered my liking for the profession, especially the flexibility they have outside of spirits. Lys is fast becoming my 2nd favourite character at the current time.

Dervish-icon.png Dervish: Haven't played one past Istan but I like the idea behind the profession and the armour.

Paragon-icon.png Paragon: Haven't played one really again, although again they really interest me and the party-wde support is a great idea. However, armour choices and nerfs have slightly put me off making one- therefore I use henchies/heros rather than player characters.
