Walkthrough to complete The Underworld (UW) and get the Underworld Chest.

Regular access cost 1Platinum, but is free during weekly bonus (Pantheon Weekly Bonus in 4 weeks).

This area must be done at once: leaving it (on purpose or not) will reset your progress. You may be forced to leave if:

  • whole team die: there are no Resurrection Shrine here
  • a quest fail, mainly due to major NPC death
  • connection issue

There are 11 quests to be done to 'complete' the area. It may take around X hours, but could take up to X or X. You do not need to accept all quests rewards to complete the area. All quests are rewarding only experience, except the final one that also reward 1Platinum.

This is the only place where you can charm a Black Widow, after completing Reapers' quests.

This route try to optimize effort needed for area completion.

Note that you'll find non locked chests that drops ONE purple item for a RANDOM party member. You may want to flag heroes out of compass before opening.

Walkthrough[edit]

If you plan going solo with heroes, you may need to check first if you equiped Pain and Bloodsong skills (on you or heroes) that could save your journey for the Four Horsemen.

  • 0: spawn point. Beware of mobs patroling near this spot if you need to prepare your team first. Do NOT take the quest from Lost Soul yet.
  • 1: clear mobs in the first room, including potential spawns.
  • 2: take the first quest Clear the Chamber. Defeat spawns in the room (south to north is advised), that will open doors to the rest of the area. Then head toward The Labyrinth. Carefully clean mobs around and take Terrorweb Dryders down last, to have a safe pop of the first friendly Reaper. Validate the quest (quest 1) and only take Restoring Grenth's Monuments for now.


From this point, you can move to any other zone. On each one, you'll need to free a Reaper. Each of them can teleport you to another freed Reaper. Therefore, it does not matter which order you choose for next zone. Here we start by rushing to the Chaos Planes to complete the most (arguably) difficult quest first.


  • C1: head toward Chaos Planes, clearing the path to south. Beware of lonely Banished Dream Rider that generate three Mindblade Spectre pop on death. Clear both sides ot the Reaper spawn point and kill Dryders last for its safe pop.
  • C2*: prepare your party for The Four Horsemen. If you cannot split your team in two, set 2 spread spirits south (Bloodsong and Pain last the longer) to slow down mobs of this side. Run north to spawn point of group 1 and flag/split heroes. Go back pick the quest, heroes will start fighting you may run to the help. Focus on the 2nd rider as soon as he come in range and let the heroes finish the fight while you run back to the reaper. Teleport somewhere, unflag heroes and teleport back to Chaos Plane so heroes are now with you near the reaper. Now take down the last 2 groups of the south just before they reached the Reaper. In NM, you have ~30 seconds to kill the first 2 groups.
  • C3: Defeat the 4 incoming groups, ensuring Reaper health (quest 5). Beware of of additional spawns.


  • V1: move to Forgotten Vale and clear the way. Proceed carefully as they are multiple spawns (possibly behind you), and you must prevent enemies to kill Tortured Spirits. Try to let the Grasping Darkness group near Mayor Alegheri alive for now. Kill Dryders last for a safe pop of the Reaper.
  • V2: get rid of the couple of Coldfire Night and Stalking Night patrols near the Reaper and take his quest Wrathful Spirits. Enemies will appear in the Vale, you need to defeat them while protecting the friendly spirits. If you still have the Darknesses alive, friendly spirit are not here yet and you can proceed more safely. Take down one group after the other, pulling around the Mayor. When all hostile foes died (quest 2), you may kill the last Darkness near Mayor. Talk to the Reaper and teleport back to labyrinth.
  • V3: you may prepare a team up to the stairs toward your spawn point (flag heroes if needed). Take quest Escort of Souls, the team will take care of first group. Trying to walk ahead of the friendly souls and take down groups on the way to Mayor. Souls will slowly walk to him (quest 3), you can move somwhere else in the meantime.


  • W1: proceed to Ice Wastes, clearing the path and killing Dryders last for a safe pop of the Reaper.
  • W2: taking the quest Servants of Grenth will generate massive spawns on the lowest point of the zone. You may prepare a team here before (flag and spread heroes), that can handle 2 groups as you'll need to protect Reaper and Ice King. Kill all mobs (quest 4).


  • L1: take Unwanted Guests from the Labyrinth's Reaper. You'll need to focus on killing the Keeper of Souls of each group, but you may need to pull Dryders away first. You may teleport to Forgotten Vale and Icy Wastes to get some groups from behind (quest 5).



At this point, even without getting quests rewards yet, UW is completed! You may open the Underworld Chest, pick up quests rewards if wanted and resign.
