  • In PvE, BiP Necromancers often reduce their health with superior runes, equipment like the -50 health Grim Cesta or offhand items with a "Life is Pain" inscription, and Death penalty to 1 health, which makes it possible for them to continuously use this skill without actually sacrificing any health.
  • Awaken the Blood does not increase the health sacrifice to a lethal amount for a necromancer with only 1 health.
  • The Hero AI is often better than humans for impromptu use of this skill as they know the energy level of all of their allies. The Heroes will:
  • Never use this skill on martial professions -- unless they are wielding a bundle, wand or staff.
  • Always use this skill on caster professions -- regardless of their weapon type.
  • Reserve the use of this skill until an ally drops to ~20 energy or lower.
