Farming[edit]

Panjiang Peninsula[edit]

Crimson Skull Coins Farming (Panjiang Peninsula).jpg

Start from Tsumei Village, following the route on the map, you will encounter no foes other than Crimson Skull. When focusing on getting just Copper Crimson Skull Coins, it might be wise to avoid some of the high level Crimson Skull marked on the map by Gold and Silver coins, though not all of them can be evaded easily. Average drops are around 3 Copper, 1.5 Silver and 0.5 Gold coins when not evading enemies (resulting in one gold coin for every two runs).

Another option is to use the quest The Siege at Tsumei Village to have a large spawn of Crimson Skull right outside either side of Tsumei Village. This can be combined with the farm above though the quest does diminish the amount of Crimson Skull spawning in the other areas somewhat.

Haiju Lagoon[edit]

This run isn't advised when farming just for Copper Crimson Skull Coins, as the other run is easier and yields more Copper Coins. Starting from Zen Daijun, follow the route up to the Crimson Skull camp near the sea, you can evade all foes except for some Crimson Skull on the route. Having The Captured Son active will vastly improve spawns of all levels of Crimson Skulls at the camp though it makes farming a bit more difficult. Without the quest active, runs yield an average of 1 Copper Crimson Skull Coin.

Notes[edit]

  • Guardsman Ayoki trades 3 coins for armor with a sale value of 30 Gold. This is double the value of the coins themselves. Liu Gong, the nearby Weaponsmith, makes it possible to sell off the exchanged armor without rezoning, so exchanging large quantities of coins is fairly quick and easy.
