Hero Usage[edit]
- Heroes will only use expensive spells or spells that cause Overcast while under the effects of this glyph.
- If using the skill at high Energy Storage, using such skills with a low recharge time (e.g. Lightning Hammer, Obsidian Flame, Rodgort's Invocation, and Vapor Blade) can help make full use of the big energy pool.
Notes[edit]
- Glyph of Energy only cancels the base overcast cost of the spells, not overcast caused by other sources.
- Arcane Languor and Iron Mist will still cause overcast on spells.
- Over the Limit will still generate passive overcast.
- Equinox and Sheer Exhaustion will not cause overcast.
- Skills that let Glyph of Energy use its full potential are Maelstrom, Meteor Shower, Earthquake, and its duplicate Dragon's Stomp.
- A cancelled spell will still consume one use of the glyph.
- Non-spell elemental skills (e.g. Lightning Touch) will take advantage of the bonus and will not count as a use of the glyph.
- Any elemental attribute raised to at least 9 will trigger the bonus armor from Prismatic Insignia.
- Has no duration (this is one of the few skills that last indefinitely without an upkeep).
