Collector locations in Mineral Springs
Mineral Springs is an area in the Shiverpeaks. Its nearest outpost is The Granite Citadel, although it is not directly adjacent to it. Mineral springs has one main path which runs in a loop around the area. It is not possible to cut across the loop and the path must be followed all the way round. There are 6 Avicara boss spawns along the path, four of which have elites only obtainable from this area. To the south east there is a small cave guarded by Frost Wurms.

[edit] Notes

  • This area counts for about 1.4% of the Cartographer Title.
  • Players attempting to Vanquish this area will be required to kill 182-209 foes.
  • Shadow monsters appear near the Ice Beast.
  • A main attraction of Mineral Springs is Lyssa's ice cave to the north east. This cave is the only place where the Icy Dragon Sword can be found through monster drops. (See Gift of the Traveler given by Nicholas the Traveler for the inscribable versions.)
  • The cave also contains an Ice Beast which drops Spectral Essence. This can be given to the seer at the end of the cave to infuse a character's armor. The last point of interest in the cave is a broken shrine to Lyssa. Players can kneel at this statue if they have favor to receive a blessing.
  • Mineral Springs is the location for the first of the Titan Quests - Defend Droknar's Forge.
  • Titan Quests - Defend Droknar's Forge does not make the vanquish any less time consuming as each Titan splits into multiple lesser Titans, and each of these Titan kill chains only counts as one kill towards the vanquish.
  • During the Titan Quests - Defend Droknar's Forge the Avicara bosses spawn in slightly different locations but they always spawn in the same spot when you rezone making it easier to capture their elites.
  • Avicara and Titans are hostile to each other.
  • For faster and more efficient capping, do not go to the closest group, head north/northeast where there are 3 Avicara spawns. There you will have 3 of the 6 possible bosses, having a greater chance to find the one you need. You may also go to the nearest spawn and hold CTRL to check if the boss is there. If it is not, just run back to Tasca's Demise and back to Mineral Springs. Remember not to resign or you'll have to cross Tasca's Demise again.
  • The northeastern part of Mineral Springs is not far from where Wizard's Folly was located in Pre-Searing.
