Notes[edit]

  • Combine with Frigid Armor before using this skill to get the speed boost without the burning at the cost of an overall reduced average running speed.
  • If the enchantment is renewed, enemies start burning at the time the original enchantment would have ended. For example, if you recast it three seconds after the original casting, foes will be set on fire after four seconds.
  • This skill's visual effect is similar to being on fire and occurs even if the burning is prevented or removed.
  • This enchantment's spammability makes it work well with Ether Renewal, which can offset both its energy cost and the health lost with burning. This combination is the cornerstone of Emo builds.

Trivia[edit]

  • At 20 Fire Magic, this skill, Dash and Pious Haste grant the fastest player-usable speed boost in Guild Wars (excluding Junundu skills).
    • However, unlike Pious Haste and Dash, this skill has an activation time and an aftercast delay, forcing the user to regularly stop moving.
  • This skill has changed since its introduction; see its skill history for details.
