Skill point

A skill point is a resource earned by gaining experience and used to purchase skills, craft certain consumables, acquire Envoy weapons, and activate Legionnaire Summoning Crystal. The number of unredeemed skill points can be viewed using the Hero panel.

Acquisition

• One skill point each time a character levels up; after reaching Level 20, they are awarded for every 15,000 experience points gained.
• One skill point for completion of a Cooperative Mission. In Factions and Nightfall, one additional skill point is awarded each for Expert's and Master's completion.
• Using a Star of Transference (consumable item).
• 14 skill points for Prophecies characters, 15 skill points for Factions characters or 13 skill points for Nightfall characters can be acquired by completing quests:

• PvP-only characters can earn skill points, but their only means of spending them is when crafting Envoy weapons.
