You can't moderate and move topics easily on a wiki, as you can with a forum. It's hard to distinguish what is feedback, and what is discussion. You can't "rate" things, without more or less bad extensions (PvX works, but it's the only exception I've seen). Wiki talk pages aren't optimal to scan opinions on a matter, they are unstructured. People can post anything in any section. The spirit of a wiki is that anyone can edit anything, that simply doesn't work with suggestions. You need one person to take responsibility for it and keep it theirs. Or we end up with the "no that's not what I meant"-wars we have now, sometimes.

Question

I've used the basis of your skills template on my space, but I've come to a little difference. I made each campaign a collapsible box but with 4 of them on top of the other, there is a small space. Take a look for yourself. Here Thanks :) Brother 08:30, 30 December 2008 (UTC)

I think the reason is that your table structure is a bit wrong. You are starting a new table with each campaign, but forgot to close them. The simple solution I found is to change:

to

GW2 suggestions (2)

This (http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/ArenaNet:Guild_Wars_2_suggestions/Don%27t_repeat_these_mistakes) page is still being protected and would need reverting back to the correct unvandalised form. I've stated at the discussion page why the current version should be undone. It's pure vandalism, just randomly removing some cons/pros. And since no one has stated there why those should be removed and as it seems there won't be any more discussion I think it should be unprotected and reverted back. And other people have stated that the version with the pros/cons isn't great and should be fixed. If I'm unprotecting it just to see a blind revert, I think it's kind of useless to unprotect, it will lead to the same problems as before.

1. Most of those pros/cons totally make sense and don't have anything wrong in them.

2. It seems that someone has just blindly removed some sentences, removing most of them doesn't make any sense.

3. Editing suggestions so it changes the actual point can't be good.

4. Editing other people ideas isn't good either, especially when they don't have anything wrong in them.

5. Besides, even if they weren't that good suggestions removing them isn't allowed if they're properly written etc.

I like it when someone takes an interest in what I have done.  I miss small inconsistencies like that; somehow I just don't see them.  What I have trouble with is when the basic information gets wrong or a mechanism gets broken.  Not the case here.  Thanks again.      mtew 23:38, 14 February 2009 (UTC)

Apropos that table, what would you think about this change, Mtew? The only tables that have smaller font sizes are the crafting tables on the armor pages, but I think it looks better on the profession overview pages when the table is in normal font size when no other table is smaller there.
