Pros

  • He uses Blood Ritual often on party members with low energy in and out of combat.
  • He has life-drain spells that ignores the target's armor rating.
  • He has an effective anti-caster life-drain skill in Soul Leech.
  • He has an enchant removal in the form of Strip Enchantment.

Cons

  • The health sacrifice required by Blood Ritual may be too taxing to monks when he uses it too frequently.

  • Claude uses the emotes of a ranger rather than a necromancer.

  • Claude has a battle quote that mentions "Sergio". Firstwatch Sergio does not have any known ties to Claude. It was speculated that perhaps some time during development, their names were swapped, or at least Claude was previously known as Sergio. There also may be a possibility that Sergio is simply his unlisted last name.
  • His skills were updated in the 22nd October 2009 update.
