Spell. Interrupt target foe's skill. If that foe was suffering from a Mesmer hex, that foe and all foes in the area take 25...50 damage and have 3...5 Health degeneration for 10 seconds.

Spell. Interrupts a skill. If target foe had a Mesmer hex, deals 25...50 damage to target and foes in the area and causes 3...5 Health degeneration (10 seconds).

  • The health degeneration will affect spirits and cannot be removed (i.e. it is not a hex).
  • The degeneration does not stack; if a foe is affected by a second Cry of Pain, the duration will be renewed.
  • The direct damage ignores armor.
  • The damage and degeneration will be applied regardless of whether a skill was interrupted.
  • The concise description is slightly unclear as to whom the health degeneration will be applied.
Anomaly Anomaly.This is the only skill that has health degeneration shown with positive value in the description.
