Named for a wise old Centaur with a penchant for peaceful living, visitors to this outpost do their business among the roots of a gargantuan stonewood tree, the largest known specimen of its kind.

— in-game description

Surrounded by Ettin's Back, Ventari's Refuge is a small outpost that is named for its peaceable resident centaur. Ventari's Refuge does not serve a different purpose than any of the other outposts of Maguuma Jungle.

Getting there[edit]

The primary quest White Mantle Wrath: Demagogue's Vanguard will lead characters from Quarrel Falls to this outpost. The quest is not required to enter.

From Lion's Arch

Exit to North Kryta Province and travel north-west to enter Nebo Terrace, then travel south-south-west to Cursed Lands. From here take one of the two west exits to The Black Curtain; taking the northwest portal allows you to unlock Temple of the Ages.

From the Black Curtain, use the west exit to reach the Talmark Wilderness and continue west through Majesty's Rest, the Sage Lands, Mamnoon Lagoon, and eventually into Silverwood. From there, take the south exit to Ettin's Back and stop at Ventari's Refuge, near the middle.

Via missions

Play through various missions in Prophecies to get to Bloodstone Fen, exit into Silverwood, and continue to Ventari's Refuge.

Notes[edit]

  • Ventari's Refuge is the last actual outpost (not mission outpost) before Henge of Denravi, which really marks the end of Maguuma Jungle. This is the start point for Totem Axe farming.
  • Complete exploration of this outpost adds less than 0.1% to the Tyrian Cartographer Title.
