A brief history

Nomad mystics live in the sand of the Crystal Desert, simple and poor, once warriors and monks without land of their own kind of soul and blood. They were haunted across the continents of Tyria and Elona until a few out of hundreds remained. Here these emotional refugees found silent peace in a light shade of a strange desert. They were thrown out from the stiff political construction of society and started to learn how to practice a more primitive survivalism, legal through animism and panteism.

Trade isn't their main goal but they require basic consumables and weapons which needed to be bought or swapped for salt they can provide to other merchants instead of currency. The only goods of value this desert holds is pure salt. The nomads provide merchants in Amnoon Oasis with this salt, later transported to Kryta and to the outermost parts of Ascalon. Salt is the only tradable goods source the desert has to offer those nomads. Herbs from Kryta, like white poppies are also handed over and traded between traveling merchants that visit this outpost once every month to ensure the need of medicine. Rare plants still grow in the dry sand and paralysing heat with respectable pharmacological effects, but even these show a lot of unpredictable side effects that can be a mind shock. There are a few spots of freshwater outspread as oases, images of what life is, a miracle bound to earth fed by fire. Oases are locations in the middle of a vast and endless space. The only rest from the heat of the sun and the warm hot sand is in places put in shadows and in cooler winds that sweep over the dunes from time to another.

In the present time, on 2012-01-09 the different tribes of the Crystal Desert and a few distant soulfriends formed the guild named Life Of The Desert [Wali] and were given a guild hall to create the first free outpost held by this neo-ethnic group which is currently led by the Istan monk Hadith Qadsi.

Guild Hall: Nomads Isle

Hadith Qadsi requested a guild hall shortly after the leading members had formed the guild. Nomads Isle did attract all of them, because it's an outpost part of the Crystal Desert. It was bought for 23 000 gold and 80 00 gold was spent on services to start with. The guild hall said not to be seen as a temple, but only as an organising, economic and political institution subordinated the religion. But the introduction of politics was a way to fit into the current global relations.

All mature players with a sense of humble respect for life are welcome. Members should be polite and helpful towards other players, using a language without discrimination, otherwise you might be excluded from the guild. To offence or deceive someone else are forbidden. Arrogance should be avoided. Officers should happen to be more responsible towards the maintainance of the guild.
