Mutants Guild +
| The Guild +
Trib founded Mu Tants [MU] in 2004. The guild originated in the free MMORPG Mu-Online and our tag, [MU], is a nod to our origins. When Trib's interests mutated to Guild Wars, he didn't find it difficult to convince the majority of the guild to join him. The guild took to the game with enthusiasm, awed by the multitude of quests and the dazzling scenery.
Over the years, MU became more that just a guild. Sharing a mutual love of the game, members became friends, despite hailing from all around the world. Many have taken the time to visit each other in real life. MU members from Belgium and Holland have met members from Sweden, Portugal, England and Argentina.
The youngest guild member is an 16-year-old, while the oldest guild member is 52. The average age in MU is above 25, though age isn't the most important part of fitting in to the guild. Attitude, on the other hand, is crucial. The right attitude goes a long way to impressing members of MU, regardless of nationality, or skill level.
About our Members +
Most MU members focus on PvE. However, they prefer to devote themselves to the hard missions and challenging PvE areas. The officers set out to provide a mature gaming environment, where humor is a vital part. The more MU party members in a group and the longer the mission lasts, the more fun they have. That's why MU enjoys the elite missions like Urgoz's Warren, the Underworld, and the Fissure of Woe the most.
As long as members have quality game-play time together and a good laugh once in a while, they don't care if they fail to complete a mission. A lot of members play several hours a day in high end areas, so many of them have Protector titles, Elite Skill Capture titles, Treasure Hunter titles, and Fissure of Woe armor.
MU has created an online home for more than 50 gamers. You don't have to look any farther than their names to see proof of their devotion; many of the members voluntarily included the name "Mutant" when choosing a name for their characters.
Every night, members of MU meet on voice-chat software to hang out and stay in contact with each other. MU also has its own, updated website, with a private guild forum for serious business and a public forum where people can discuss all kind of subjects.
Our main interests +
- The Zaishen Challenges are something which has increased the level of activity within the Guild. With different missions, bounties and combat challenges everyday, there's something to keep everyone busy.
- Urgoz's Warren is one of our main activities, we love this elite mission. Due to our experience in it, we have completion times of less than 1 hour for Normal Mode and less than 2 hours in Hard Mode. The best part is that it's a 12 man mission, so more members can take part.
- Fissure of Woe / The Underworld / Domain of Anguish are other areas we complete when time and member availability allow, or if someone needs another part of FoW Armor.
- Missions in HM, Dungeons and progressing Titles are the main activities when nothing special is happening. We try to focus on titles like Protector, Guardian, Vanquisher and KOABD. The best part about title hunting is that we try to do it as a Guild.
We are still accepting new members: check our forum for more information.
We are looking for active players age 18+. We don't mind helping with character progression though campaigns, but our primary interests are in the Fissure of Woe, the Underworld, Urgoz's Warren and The Deep. We play for fun but we also like to achieve something.
To join, go to our website, register, and fill in an application on the forum.
All new members will get a trial period of about 1-2 weeks to see if we meet their expectations, and to check that they meet ours.
Although a lot of Mutants members have one or more FoW-armor, we are not a farming guild. We have members who farm occasionally, but the focus is on teamwork, fun and high end PvE
Other Games We Play +
As well as a large membership in Guild Wars, Mu Tants have interests in other games aswell, and wherever possible have started a MU Guild in those games too.
Mu Tants have been in Aion, Age of Conan, Perfect World International, Battle of the Immortals and many other games
We are currently without an Alliance
