General Information[edit]
Background[edit]Gaming Background: It all started on the Commodore 64 (the computer that Weird Al affectionately calls the computer that has a Dorito for a chip ;) ). My favorite games were Buck Rodgers, John Elway's Quarterback, Sea Fox, and BC's Quest for Tires. The only gaming system I had growing up was the original Game Boy. Favorite game was Super Mario Land, which I could beat in half an hour. I got into the role-playing genre with the original Diablo. A couple of my college buddies were playing and I was curious. I was immediately hooked. I bought Diablo II despite the fact I technically had a system that wasn't capable of running it (200 mHz Pentium, 64 MB RAM, 10 GB hard drive, and crappy sound and video cards - it was affectionately nicknamed the "Packard Hell"). How we got it to run on that thing we'll never know, but it did. We all rejoiced when I got my new computer a year later. I also own a PS2, XBOX 360, and Nintendo DS, but Guild Wars pretty much takes up all my free time now ;) I for the most part only play PvE. I am generally a non-combative person and would rather kill the computer than fellow players. However, I've been known to rack up the kills in the training event immediately preceding the Searing ;) Thanks to Lensor who I shamelessly ripped off this userpage template from. Babel[edit] |
