Are you dumb, bro?
I was going to make a decent length post about why you're dumb and etc, but then I realized that, since you already know all that, I'd be feeding your trolling, zzz. So, instead, I'll ask you what the point of your trolling is. You don't troll without purpose (usually); most of the time you troll people so they'll go away and stop being a problem for the rest of the community (Karlos, Ariyen, Mtew, Misery-ish, myself, etc), but I'm pretty sure you can't do that for Ryuu. Since, while you are dumb, you're not dumb enough to pretend you can troll Ryuu off the wiki, I can only assume you're trying to troll Vili (and, indirectly, everyone else on Ryuu's list), but since we're not dumb enough to care if you troll us and you know it, im confus.
-- Armond WarbladeUser Armond sig image.png{{Bacon}} 02:43, 31 May 2010 (UTC)
I was thinking about asking the same question but then again... Auron is about the least carebear type person I've met on the net (not that I talk to a lot of people on the net btw) so I didn't expect him to say anything. I especially didn't expect him to say what he did on ryuu's talk. IMO, in a way a lot of people can identify with what Ryuu is struggling with, and can also say "been there, done that". I personally have scars from my past (literally). I'm over the horrors of the past, but some still live in whatever nightmare they are in, and in this case I think it's better to err on the side of not thinking that ryuu is trolling. And if he is, then so what? --Lania ElderfireUser Lania Elderfire pinkribbon.jpg 03:02, 31 May 2010 (UTC)
umad? -Auron 05:10, 31 May 2010 (UTC)
Fools, you have once again failed to grasp the wisdom of Auron! For He knows that Ryuu has been sissified by years of pity and coddling, and his only salvation lies in grasping the manly virtues of courage and fortitude. And so Auron has issued a challenge, a sorely needed ultimatum. "Cease your wallowing, boy!" his mighty baritone thunders across the plains. "Pull yourself up by your bootstraps, wrestle with your fears, and defeat them! Then, and only then, may you return and face me!" Indeed, it is abundantly clear now that Ryuu's only true friend is Auron, whose very pubic hairs are too steely to curl. User Felix Omni Signature.pngelix Omni 05:54, 31 May 2010 (UTC)

Everything you put on this wiki you are putting under the GFDL license. Since you simply cannot make the call for copyrighted content (like images from those games I mentioned above), the content cannot be posted.
If you do have permission from Blizzard, Sega, etc, to license their content according to GNU, feel free to screenshot or forward those emails to me and I'll undelete the image. Have a nice day. -Auron 08:47, 16 June 2010 (UTC)

Auron is not the one who made our copyright policy and he can not single-handedly change it. So stop blaming him for it. I also suggest you leave out the personal attacks. --Xeeron 09:24, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
Be sure to mention that you're requesting permission to release their assets under an open source license, not just using them on a wiki. They will say no by the way. User Felix Omni Signature.pngelix Omni 09:27, 16 June 2010 (UTC)

Not only GWW has these kind of problems, it is an issue for every site under the GFDL. Every image uploaded to a wiki under the GFDL needs permission from all the subjects of the image (which is why many pages on wikipedia are devoid of images). In your case it is something quite innocent, but to prevent people from thinking this stuff is for free use, putting it on this site is not the way to go. Dammit I was gonna make fun of that guy. Anyways, how's WoW? -- Tha Reckoning User- Tha Reckoning Another Sig.png 02:29, 24 July 2010 (UTC)

lol so was i, that was pretty funny.
it's alright, my war's new guild on a new server is better than I figured. I got to go on the alt run (people's lower-geared second characters), and we got 5/12 hardmodes down in 25. And I got a new raf partner so I'm leveling more alliance characters now, namely a priest. -Auron 02:45, 24 July 2010 (UTC)
As someone who's never played WoW, I don't know what most of that means, but I get the gist of it. I nutted up for a 360 and Live, so I've been reveling in Halo 3 and Fable 2, and I'll be getting into Assassin's Creed next. Pretty much all of the cool stuff I missed because I was too broke when it came out. Ideas? -- Tha Reckoning User- Tha Reckoning Another Sig.png 02:53, 24 July 2010 (UTC)
rainbow six vegas 2, the single player is amazing and the online play is amazing (mostly due to the lack of the MW2 idiots). it's still a FPS, but it's surprisingly not bad. also check out Resident Evil 5, it's nothing special and is bogged down by fucking quick time event bullshit, but at the end of the day it's an alright game. once you beat it in easy or normal, you can start upgrading weapons and unlocking infinite ammo for them (sort of like older games). spraying down entire rooms with 100000 bullets is a lot of fun, even though you end up failing the "accuracy" grade at the end of each level. -Auron 02:59, 24 July 2010 (UTC)
Yeah my sister and my mom play Resident Evil 5, but I've never been big on the series. Mortal fear of typewriters and herbs I suppose. I've heard a lot about Rainbow Six, never checked those out either, I'll have to look into it. And yeah, I get what you mean about MW2 idiots, Halo 3 live is full of twelve year olds, but say the kind of stuff my parents used to punch me in the mouth for saying when I was little. It's a mixture of being annoyed because they're cussing me out, and laughing because it sounds like Mickey Mouse is pissed off. -- Tha Reckoning User- Tha Reckoning Another Sig.png 03:05, 24 July 2010 (UTC)

WoW private servers[edit]

Do you know anything about them? Or have any to recommend if you do know?--*Yasmin Parvaneh* User yasmin parvaneh sig.png 18:12, 26 July 2010 (UTC)

Nah, I stopped messing around with them in 2006. They're all generally shitty. They try to do stuff like 10x exp and 10x drop rates, but in the end all that does is make the mobs drop a *ton* of gray items (the useless, vendor kind) that fills your bag up in two seconds. If you want to play wow, your best bet is to do recruit-a-friend with someone (like adrin), that gives you 300% exp up to 60 and applies to any characters you make for 90 days. So you can get quite a few 60s before the time expires, and then work on getting them to 80 at your leisure.
Back when I cared, I saw that there were some different private servers, and one or two that were PvP focused (i.e., you start at 80 with like 50000 honor and you can buy some PvP gear with it). Those were never popular back then, and I can't imagine they're any more popular right now. If you do find one, you'll have to deal with WoW being ridiculously imbalanced.
If that is your interest, keep in mind that rogues, mages, pallies and priests are the most common classes in PvP, because of their inherent imbalanced mechanics. Warlock and Druid are popular choices for the less skilled players, as they come with weaker but much easier skills to use (aoe fear, apply dots). You can look up builds or whatever at arenajunkies.com. -Auron 23:52, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
I've given up on PvP in games like these...I'll be content with playing Street Fighter 4 when I feel the competitive urge. My main thing was I don't think WoW looks good enough to pay for, and since RoM is buggy as shit right now (what can I expect from 100% free) I figured I'd play WoW since they're identical and they allow private servers for cheapos like me. I'm fine with PvE in games like those two.--*Yasmin Parvaneh* User yasmin parvaneh sig.png 01:00, 27 July 2010 (UTC)

Plus it might be worth noting that the guy was a known vandal.. Also asking people to not post any more messages on one's talk page is actually not bad at all, but kind of the right of every user to say. (asking != forcing) poke | talk 23:06, 6 August 2010 (UTC)

sigh[edit]

Since I am currently banned on PVX for trying to flame and troll some guild power voters on a crap build I hope it is alright to post here. I think both systems work however there isn't voting here so it is a different system. PVX should have just the best builds and guides to help other get better at the game. The way to achieve that is to make sure the users posting know what they are talking about...and if they don't to make sure everyone reading it know it as well. Can get overwhelming at times but it will not only help people reading it but also help the poster to learn.----Xtreme 23:41, 10 August 2010 (UTC)

Mass reversion[edit]

Do non-admins have the power to undo multiple articles vandalized by the same IP? (I'm guessing not, but if there is, it would have come in handy today.) Thanks.  — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 12:21, 17 August 2010 (UTC)

you mean revert multiple (consecutive) edits by one user on the same article? It's called "rollback", I imagine if you ask a bureaucrat nicely they might give you rollback (I believe it is it's own usergroup so it can be handed out on it's own, and there's not much in the way of abuse to be had). ~ PheNaxKian talk 12:55, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
No, I mean on multiple articles. I'm asking about trying to revert someone who might have copypasta vandalized 20 pages within 5 minutes. I would prefer to invest a careful 2 minutes one time rather than have to be careful 20 times. (I'm not, btw, asking for special powers — only if there's an easier way to go about it that I didn't learn in school.)  — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 13:14, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
then no, there's no such ability, odds are they just clicked on the users contributions and middle mouse clicked (or whatever button "opens link as new tab" for that browser quickly) on "rollback" on all vandalous edits (rollback means you don't need to check the edit and press save, it just does it automatically) ~ PheNaxKian talk 13:39, 17 August 2010 (UTC)

I was able to look them up on youtube. Those matches were epic. InfestedHydralisk 19:11, 2 October 2010 (UTC)

they were very solid games. i think a slightly more versatile terran would have made a better show, but ITR is certainly "good" from a skill standpoint. terran is just a strong race because so many of their units can do so many things, but he did the same thing twice in a row and it failed twice in a row. as soon as he changed up, he won a game, and almost won the next but just got out-played by fruit. if he did that right off he would have had a better chance. -Auron 23:03, 2 October 2010 (UTC)

Already tried what Raine suggested, but its slightly hard trying to add good people to your friends list when you don't get even one game off the ground. Anyway, you had some tips, i'd love to hear those :o DemonicFahrirDesecrate Enchantments.jpg 11:47, 20 October 2010 (UTC)

raine put my tips and hers in list form. nothing makes HA easy, the first 180 fame are absolutely terrible to grind through. once you're able to flash a bambi, finding groups (and people who don't suck) gets easier. until then, join randomways and unranked pugs and just lose in underworld a bunch.
gw pve is a fantastically casual game, but gw stops being casual when you get into the real pvp. you will need to want to win more than the other guys, or you simply won't. spend time obsing matches to see where people go/stand/bodyblock, unlock enough skills to run proper bars, and make sure you aren't running them wrong. that's about all you can do until you have a bambi. -Auron 12:42, 20 October 2010 (UTC)
I was doing that.. but okay i'll keep it up. Thanks for your time (also theres a vandal destroying dhuum's picture) DemonicFahrirDesecrate Enchantments.jpg 12:43, 20 October 2010 (UTC)

I hate the taste of alcohol, but feel that I have to drink it in order to be socially acceptable. As such beer is my drink of choice as it is the cheapest and usually seen as the most acceptable drink for guys to consume and it helps my career to consume some beers with my coworkers and superiors at social work occasions. I claim to prefer darker, fuller, more flavoursome beers as that is often regarded as more manly, an image which I try to cultivate for myself. If I do not drink with people in social occasions I appear strange or unusual and will find myself shunned, in private if not publicly. I have seen the results of this and it is real, both socially and in terms of careers. I also feel obliged to post about my drinking preferences online when I see other people talking about it to make sure that other people on the internet also think I am socially normal and acceptable rather than some kind of strange basement beast that still lives with his parents. I'm pretty sure no one is arguing anything here, let alone arguing anything without fallacy. Let's take a quick look.
Auron's argument: ArenaNet is a sinking ship. The evidence is implied (read: Auron didn't say any of this in his edit) by the fact that ArenaNet has released practically no new info on GW2 has been released for 2 months (?) now, and most of the new things that GW2 is offering is actually not that new, and that hype for GW2 is dying, despite being a project that ArenaNet has said that (paraphrased) they "we're betting everything".
Your response to Auron's argument is "Don't be so cynical." Your interpretation of his cynicism stems from the fact that Auron stated that ArenaNet is a sinking ship. While Auron is indeed, cynical, you forgot the part where you actually counter his argument. Oops. If anything, this is a 'who has the right to lecture who' war.
Let's look at this debacle again. Auron said something cynical. You didn't like it, so you told him to not be cynical. Auron said no, so you baited him. He responded, and then you lectured him about fallacies of argument, while still baiting him. You are quite the interesting character, Jon Lupen. --Riddle 05:57, 17 November 2010 (UTC)
"People bail from a sinking ship, it's human nature. -Auron 01:04, 17 November 2010 (UTC)"
As if to say Emily is leaving ArenaNet strictly because it's a "sinking ship."
I do enjoy being an interesting character. — Jon User Jon Lupen Sig Image.png Lupen 06:04, 17 November 2010 (UTC)
No, you don't, which is the problem. You already ignored the part where I told you to take your self-righteous bullshit somewhere else.
You wouldn't know trolling if it came up and bit you in the nose - which is the big problem here. Trolls post stuff simply to get a rise out of people. I do troll occasionally, and I trolled much more in the past - but my post on Emily's talk was completely serious and not intended to stir up the pot (in addition, as I have stated, I have no intention of continuing to post there - I made my point of view known, and people are free to agree with it or to disagree with it). In terms of Emily's choices, she can stick with ANet (with all their problems that I won't even get into) and their fully PvE free-to-play MMO or she can find another company she feels will perform better. I don't particularly agree with her choice to jump to a console MMO about zombies, but at this point, it must have seemed a better option than GW2.
That is why I posted what I posted. ANet had a good product - by design or by chance, GW1 was a good PvP game. ANet systematically destroyed it via updates. ANet built GW2 as a PvE game from the ground up, which will make it vastly better than GW ever was, but it also means they have to compete with real MMOs - something they will not be able to do. I think Emily saw all this and it factored in to her decision to leave ANet. It might not be the biggest part of her decision (I can think of a few other possibilities - working under a relatively bad korean publisher, family issues, personal conflicts within ANet, a significant raise from the other company), but it definitely had its part in her job swapping.
Does pointing any of this out make me a cynic? I don't go around spouting doom and gloom - it's not my personality. When shit is fucked up, I call it out. When shit is working fine, I call that, too. Does that really make me a cynic? What's more, does being a cynic have anything inherently wrong with it? You're evidently bothered enough by logic and reason that you have to come to my talk page and tell me to act differently. Why is that? Is the wiki harmed by opposing viewpoints on the talk page of a staff member intending to leave? No. Is the wiki harmed by opposing viewpoints on any talk page? No. Why exactly do you want me to become a carebear and never post anything negative? Because you are pushing your bullshit views on me and have yet to provide any explanation for it. This is why I told you the same thing I tell every mormon that comes to my door - stick it in your ear.
One of the (many) things you fail to realize is that Auron is my online personality - not who I really am. Even if your misguided attempts to "fix" my personality were well-placed, they would be meaningless. Your actions are like trying to tell Dr. House to be less of a dick. Does that actor go around real life messing with people's lives, marriages, and jobs to take out his pain on them? No, I'm pretty sure he doesn't. Even if the self-righteous bullshit you spewed all over this section had any merit whatsoever, you would be wasting your time here. You can't convert fictional characters.
Feel free to keep trying though, you are rather amusing. -Auron 06:12, 17 November 2010 (UTC)
@Jon... If GW2 fails to produce any significant sales, Anet will disappear and no one will remember what guild wars was, and just fade into the obscurity of gaming history. I think you'd have to be delusional to think that Anet is in good shape right now... looking at their earning reports, you really get the sense that they are putting all their eggs in one basket... so to speak :/. Also IMO Auron is a realist, not a cynic.
So, what is the real personality of Auron IRL like? --Lania User Lania Elderfire pinkribbon.jpg06:36, 17 November 2010 (UTC)
He's clearly not a mormon or an audiologist. -- Tha Reckoning User- Tha Reckoning Another Sig.png 12:00, 17 November 2010 (UTC)
Since you've felt the need to be less aggressive with that post, spew less angst, and attempt to be reasonable, I think I'll return the favor. Here's the problem: Timing and placement. A fairwell page is _NOT_ a good place to try and make a serious point about a failing company. The same way it's in bad taste to give a speech about how a family is going to collapse now at a funeral. You just don't do it. I don't care if this is only your "online personality," it's still a dick that exercises little tact and respect. Remember how we drilled into Shard, not for the point he was pushing, but instead how he went about putting it forth? Yeah. I don't want to change your "personality" or whatever the Hell you call that thing, simply when and where it conducts its self.
Let's have a recap of what happened.

(Reset indent) On a slightly unrelated note... I reject the notion that just because someone is negative or pessimistic about something, that there is something wrong with that person. Somehow we are all expected to be happy no matter what is going on even if everything is falling apart. I see and hear about this a lot in the medical field... Everyone says/tells terminal cancer patients to be positive/happy. Why should they? They should feel how they feel like they should feel. People should be happy just so that other people won't be impacted? Or maybe it's just that people don't want to deal with depressed/negative/sad people? When someone has 2 weeks to live, in a lot of pain, I think it's just cruel to tell someone like that to be "happy" and to think positive just so that other people around them don't feel as bad, or "deal" with the bursts of anger, the crying, and the dismal outlook on their own life... I also reject the idea that depressive realism exists. Just because someone is a realist doesn't make them somehow depressed or cynical about things. I hate it when other people tell others to stop being a cynic or have a dismal outlook on the world when things are really falling apart, just because other people don't want to real with the reality that it is in fact falling apart. There was thousands of people on wallstreet warning, screaming, yelling, blogging, and going nuts about the state of the economy before the great recession hit. But everyone dismissed them as just being cynical, crazy, out of touch with reality, and also somehow stupid, because everyone wanted to believe in the unsustainable growth in the market. I'm not saying that Anet is going to sink, but they are definitely taking in water, and NCsoft is currently not too pleased with GW2's development schedule right now. Whether Anet sinks or floats depends solely on GW2... hence the reduction in the live team staff, and I'm assuming pay and work hours as well. I HIGHLY doubt that GW1 CR's like regina is working a full 40 hour week because she is most likely not getting paid that much. --Lania User Lania Elderfire pinkribbon.jpg19:22, 17 November 2010 (UTC)

Its kind of more like, what kind of person spends so much time on a wiki for a game they do nothing but bitch about? Seems kind of... pathetic, don't you think? (and yes, I do believe its probably unlikely for you to even admit that) But who thinks so little of their own life to do that? Say it once maybe, fine. But to be doing it for months and years? Who really needs to advertise that attitude so much? Its just being an emotional cancer. GW2 could turn out to suck, and anet likely would die, it happens, doesn't really matter either. GW2 could be a great game, and still kill anet, because it simply couldn't sell enough due to market conditions (lets not pretend the game that sells the most means its any good either btw, just in case anyone is - its kind of amazing how many $60 AAA games are kind of forgetable after the 3 month hype). Do any of you really have any clue of what the actual financial condition of anet is, let alone what the future holds for it. They are taking on water? Really? My lord. What should they be doing? Developing iphone apps in the meantime so not all their eggs are in the gw basket? :P How much water are they clearly taken on? How much longer can anet keep paying the bills? 3 more weeks? Let me know. I needs the realism. Because its not like its pretty standard for companies to spend 3+ years on a big game, right? Its not like starcraft wasnt developed for probably 5+ years and all that development was money bled. Blizzard must have already made a profit on that game already, right? God, i hope Blizzard isnt going to die now that they are taking on water with development on diablo 3 right now?! Oh, right, they have WoW and stuff, the whole "basket" thing again. Its great that Blizzard never had just one game at a time in its history... oh, wait.
Its often interesting how the people who say they are just being a realist usually are not that realistic/objective. Its often like how the people who talk about telling the truth the most are often the biggest liars. This isnt to say Auron is never realistic or objective. I just bet its nowhere near as much as they think it is. I think Auron is just more in love with the self-image. I also happen to think its probably the same for you.
And you have a rather odd point with the cancer stuff. Its very true people dont like being around depressed people. Just as people dont really like being around asshats (one reason why i think its likely Auron spends so much time on a wiki for a game appears to hate with a passion). But yeah, you do typically tell cancer patients to try to be happy, or at least not as bad. Why? Because life is short, and its likely going to be very short for them. Why waste it on pointless negativity and depression? Why not try to make the most of the time you have left? But I guess that doesn't seem to make sense to you. So feel free to tell your love ones (if they ever get cancer, hope they don't), to just "go ahead and die already" or something like "yes, keep feeling depressed, you should, you have cancer!". Its good to be a realist :P As the cliche goes, life isnt fare, and life doesnt care about you. And anyone can view their life as falling apart if they were really inclined to. Perception is an interesting thing. Some people can lose their arms, and still look at better days, and not be a jerk. While other people can pay $50 for a game, hate some of the changes they do to it, and be a jerk for years due to it. I know who I would respect as a person, and who i wouldn't.
There were also very few people yelling and screaming before the economic crash. Were there some? Sure, but that says nothing in and of itself, because there are always some loud mouth malcontents like Auron out in the real world too. Anyone not in regulation who REALLY saw the market crash happening wouldn't have actually been screaming about it, they would instead be doing everything they could to profit off of it. There were very few of these people, and those people ended up really rich shorting things and being on the right side of the CDSs. The simple fact is, outside of those who really put tons of time looking into very arcane details of some very specific areas of finance would never have even known anything was up. A lot of it really just boiled down to luck. Because its not easy to find the real data involved in all this, without certain connections. People are still struggling to get the entire picture clear after all this time.
And yes, I realize all of this will likely fall on deaf ears for one reason or another, because the problem MUST be with me, right? At least i know my life is irrelevant, and i'm ok with that. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 76.226.173.14 (talk).
I really like how the media has brainwashed people into thinking that the signs of the economic disaster was really obscure. Rising real-estate prices, rising consumer debt loads, increasing defaulting on loads, banks starting to lost profitability, insane amount of speculation on the market, flat/declining middle class wages, stagnant growth on durable goods sales, ... these are all the conditions that were there before that I saw early in 2007 and I knew that the economy will crash one day or another, just didn't know how fast And I'm not even an economist (I just use google news). One of my friends that worked for mini Madhoff (now defunct westgate capitol management) said that almost everyone in wallstreet knew that something big was going to go down, and there was a lot of people making noise about it, but the media never paid much attention. There was others that just didn't care because they were making gob loads of money, and perpetuated the notion that everything was just peachy...Worst of all, places like CNBC instilled confidence in the financial firms that were really looking horrible on paper. People were really just delusionally thinking that all of this was really sustainable. Guess what? the same/similar market conditions exist in China right now, and despite their huge exports, their economy will implode soon or later.
As for terminally ill patients...It's dismissive to tell someone to "cheer up" because when you do that, you are dismissing their inner feelings, their internal conflicts, and who they are as a person. The best anyone can do is to be supportive, listen, be compassionate...and listen listen listen. It's better to acknowledge how they are feeling rather than dismiss it. Do whatever they ask you to do, even small things... And you know what? it's much tougher and does a lot more to help the patient than to tell him/her "to be happy, life is short, it's not so bad". Plus if you do that, I will guarantee that the patient will be less happy and more angry.
Anet is taking in water. [2] Shows Arenanet dead last in game sales out of all the subsidiaries. 3rd quarter, Guildwars sales which includes in game store sales like costumes storage panels etc netted only 2% of all sales that NCsoft made that quarter. Is Anet's position unique? No, this rather a common occurrence in the development cycle of non subscription type games. Many subsidiaries like Anet have disappeared because their followup product failed to produce sales. It doesn't matter if the game got a 95% of gamespot etc, if the sales aren't what the publishers expected, then that subsidiary disappears. Don't get me wrong... I am very excited about GW2 and I know it will be a great game. But that doesn't mean that Anet isn't under a lot of pressure right now to deliver something spectacular... When the game is released, it is just about guaranteed to sell at least 2-3 million copies, but IMO they will have to sell more than that to make NCsoft happy, but will most likely save Anet from getting axed. Getting to the release date is the main challenge Anet is facing, and the holiday season isn't the best time to "ramp" up the amount of work that needs to get done, so development is slowing down a bit right now. It is a reality that 2 of the 3 founders of ArenaNet left... to work at NCwest, and one of them eventually quit to start undead labs to make zombie games. Then others like EMily left to go to Undead Labs as well. Does that mean internal strife going on? Maybe, but if this [3] is any indication, then that is probably not the case but more likely that they are just crazy about zombies. --Lania User Lania Elderfire pinkribbon.jpg02:31, 18 November 2010 (UTC)

Sorry, Lania. Your last link is a bad blog by someone who's obviously retarded. I've played Guild Wars. There are not five races that fight dragons in the Guild Wars I've played. The rest of the post goes on to say how ArenaNet is like every other notable game studio on the planet. OMG, they go to gaming conventions!? OMG, They talk to other employees!? OMG, they have community contests!? HThe blog would have been worth writing had he mentioned what sets Anet apart from other game companies. Instead, he made a blog where I could replace "Anet" with Valve or Blizzard or even Electronic Arts Maxis, and everything in it would still be true. ~Shard User Shard Sig Icon.png 03:21, 18 November 2010 (UTC)

Suppression of free speech[edit]

Since when are you into that sort of shit? I mean, A&S is one of the worst trolls on this wiki. We all know that. The worst thing you can do is give him more and more attention, like you and Raine seem to think of being an appropriate way to handle his antics. Reverting his contribs on a talk page gives him yet another excuse to troll when he comes back and cover it up as a legitimate complaint. Koda User Koda Kumi UT.jpeg Kumi 21:28, 5 January 2011 (UTC)

Speech is never free, least of all on the internet. I'm a pretty big opponent of censorship on wikis (in any form), but some comments don't have any reason to exist. If that particular contribution was actually contributing anything I wouldn't have reverted it, but it was just another hate-filled post by a user who's been banned for them. -Auron 23:43, 5 January 2011 (UTC)

RTS isn't my genre. The genre offers some amazingly balanced games, but I'm fucking terrible at them - I've played a ton of titles (c&c + sequels, wc1/2/3, sc, random bad ones like age of empires) but I usually stop after beating the PvE campaign. I enjoyed GW and was able to get relatively near the top of the competitive scene, but I have no chance in hell with SC2, so I haven't really bothered. Being stuck in low plat or high gold forever wouldn't be a lot of fun. -Auron 01:26, 27 January 2011 (UTC)

Maybe you do, Raine. Also, I had a lot of fun with the campaign. I even go back and do some of the "titles" or whatever they are. I especially liked those early learn to micro challenges, I still play those when I get bored of matchmaking. I just like how much there is to do, if you get bored of one thing. There's always other game types like 2v2 and customs, bla bla bla good stuff cause I'm a nerd. I think it sticks with me because early on I played a game called 1602 AD (I was little) and it sort of reminds me of that. -- Tha Reckoning User- Tha Reckoning Another Sig.png 04:42, 27 January 2011 (UTC)
