There have already been three people ask on both Gaile Gray AND Linsey Murdock's already overcrowded talk page about the date of the festival. Gail Gray has given us the date of the festival. We can be smart and try to provide this information people are seeking because we know it to be true - unless you want to imply Gaile is spreading misinformation - she wouldn't have answered the question if she didn't have the answer. What are Wyn's reasons? If you can't give them does that mean you blindly reverted an edit simply because you side with Wyn over an IP? The source quoting Gaile Gray with the date is on the talk page so it's not Wyn over an IP. Did you even read the talk page before you blindly reverted? I, quite frankly, don't give a damn who says what. Gaile isn't the community rep, and even when she was, she got plenty of shit wrong. Wyn isn't the community rep either, but she's following precedence - we don't list specific information (i.e., starting times and detailed content) about events until they're talked about on gw.com. You still haven't mentioned why it would hurt to wait a few days (or weeks, hell - ANet isn't going to try and sneak this event past people) to list stuff like the starting date. -Auron 12:30, 13 January 2009 (UTC)

This is not about siding with me. Event pages don't get started until the announcement of the event is posted on gw.com. This same thing happened with Wintersday 2008 which was originally created before the Halloween decorations were down, and it happened with Halloween 2008 which was originally created before the end of September, etc. etc. etc. The rule of thumb is that it stays a redirect until the announcement is posted. I don't know why we always have to argue about this. Until then there just isn't enough information to warrant a page. Last, if you dont like anybody or his/her play style, please dont complain over it against me. They are my friends and I have no respect for the people who call them bad, stupid, or whatever. You may think that of course, but keep it by yourself, I dont need it. Because my opinion is that they are good players and that they are a lot better in-game then me. They are there always for me if I need some help. And for me is that more important then some mistakes in a build or something.

Talk pages do not belong to the user, they belong to the community. You can remove only those posts that violate policy (NPA violtions, and obviously trolling comments).
