Oh no! ShadowFog is Replying!

Anyhow, the last statement of the reply said "Until an update buff the useless motherload of skills we have, expect the same gimmick, just like other formats." which is your conundrum when you "But It's very very expected to find some daring people like me that open their Priest of Balthazar agent in GH and wander around in the skill section, trying to find connections, or cruising around your skill list and throwing skills that look nice.". It may be true that it is another reason for people to quit, but my posts are completely different than Faction reasons or waiting time reasons. If you said that other people quit due to gimmicks ok, but, the waiting time is a diffrent topic. Another thing that you said, that we have a huge amount of useless skills, I think that it is very depending. Tiger Stance was almost never in use, until Assassins started using it, and it became a gimmick. And again, skills like Toxic Chill were not in use until the gimmick. You said that people use it because it works, and what about all the builds that many many people made, that work fantastic, they don't become gimmicks. Why? Beats me. It helps if there are people in your guild who can be of any help if you want to do some challenging stuff. Except for you, nobody in RIP can even hope to accomplish something in DoA HM, or Deep HM. And then I am not talking about PvP. I understand it is a PvE-centered alliance, but failing to grasp the function of the profession you play qualifies someone as noob in my view. I already did DoA HM and Deep HM once (and twice), and if I would really really want to do them again, I can always ask my friends or PuG (lol at latter). And that is not true: there are other members that are also capable of deeds, like Caj for example. A noob is someone who doesn't know, is not willing to learn, and lives in an illusion that he knows. In RIP, I don't think there are such people. Oh, the alliance atm is quite... dead/desolate/remnants of Mygeto (the Star Wars geeks would know the meaning). I think I am going to test some free trial versions, and play PS2 and PSP games. I migrated to GW from WoW since The Burning Crusade went out and released WoW's "Grind-And-Position" alongside "Purchase-or-Die" mechanisms, so I'm not going back there: especialy since WotLK came out. LotR Online was crappy as hell, and so was Age of Conan and EVE (come on... wait 20 minutes to get to a mine, just to wait another 20 minutes to use it, rinse and repeat). Why you ask? Erm... "Please refrain from commenting on anything that has nothing to do with you" isn't very ambiguous. In fact, it's about as unambiguous as it is possible to get. I could make it shorter - "keep your nose out of other people's business" - but that would be pointless and rude. There is no rule in the general guidelines for talk pages that prevents him from adding pointless contributions to your talk page, annoying and edit conflicting or not. Perhaps that policy should be rewritten, but in it's current state Titani has not violated any rules. And it's my job to prove it, because I am the one saying they exist. I, as the person supporting the positive, have to prove it- not you, those supporting the negative. I'm addressing the issue to the person contributing to the issue, if only to notify him of my objection; I've already started a bigger picture discussion on orphaned images, but it's yet to attract attention.

Also, these project instructions or directions are guidelines, suggestions, or rough outlines as to what should be achieved - they aren't 'rules', and one shouldn't have to contact a 'creator' to change something. Some discretion is necessary in regards to where and to what those directions should apply.

I am aware of your objection and I understand what you imply. But I think that if you have deletion for images based on criterias, unused images should be one of them. A month is a very long time; you can use an image in a thousand ways in a month. You uploaded an image for a purpose, and if you didn't use that picture, there is no reason for it to just lie there.

I agree to that. I will note that in future deletion tags (e.g.: skill deletion), but I won't change the deletion tags I already planted.

Something I've just noticed, by the way, is that the category cleanup project only mentions orphaned images in relation to user images; these skill icons are mainspace/non-specific images.

The "new Tab opened" isn't just blank; it has your recent bookmarks and most visited pages. The bookmark bar isn't getting in the way; in fact, you barely notice it.
