Water Djinn Essences are the essences of water-based Djinn. They can attract underground water from a wide distance. It is also used in recipes.
Jidun says that it will help remove the effects of a mind-control potion, however Paljab claims that it is an ingredient for mind-controlling.

Farming[edit]
Turai's Procession[edit]
Start from The Gate of Desolation. Head south through Turai's Procession. Proceed through the winding path. Lots of water Djinn in the area. Due to the large amount of enemies in between the entrance and the farming location it may be best to use a Hero team to reach the spot before flagging them away upon reaching the farming spot.
Mehtani Keys[edit]
This is the quickest method for a total of eleven level 15 water djinn and nothing else close to an outpost. However, it requires a considerable setup:
- A party member with the quest War Preparations (Wind and Water) active, which one of the last Elonian-only primary quests.
- A fitting build that can defeat the waves of Djinn.
This means that without a partner to enter the area with, doing it with the Elonian character requires a sufficient level and skills suited for farming. Alernatively, a high level hero can be used for help. (For example, doing the quest Hole of Istan can unlock several level 20 heroes, including Vekk to gain access to elemental damage-based builds to quickly kill the djinn.)
After the character with the quest has spoken to Captain Bolduhr, enter Methani Keys and approach the five sailors, avoiding the popup Mandragor that will appear when straying slightly north from the quest's path, as well as the Skale to the south hat will patrol near the target location. Once the sailors are approached, three level 15 Water Djinn will spawn, followed by a second wave of three and a third wave of five. The sailors do not have to survive for all djinn to spawn. Do not speak to Kinya Kela, but rezone to reset the quest for another run.
