Turai's Procession is the long stretch of rocky and barren terrain in northern Kourna. There are small villages on both the eastern and western edges of the area. The Ancestor Tree of the centaurs can also be found in this area, towards the west, near the western human village.

Getting there[edit]

Turai's Procession is the north exit in Command Post.

Notes[edit]

  • This area is named after Turai Ossa, but the "Procession" might refer to the march of his army towards the Battle of Jahai or him leading settlers to the Crystal Desert. Geographically, the latter is more likely.
  • Complete exploration of this area contributes approximately 3.4% to the Elonian Cartographer title, the largest in Kourna.
    • This zone has a small section (on the eastern edge) with a permanent fog: it will remain covered even after your character explores it.
  • Vanquisher runs of this area without active quests requires defeating around 200 foes. Including quest influences, it has been reported to range from 163 to 262.
    • If triggered, Mirza's Last Stand greatly increases the number of foes in this area.
    • Vanquishing may require killing the Tormented Lands which will spawn in order and make vanquishing confusing, refer to the map in Troubled Lands if you're having difficulty finding the last few mobs.
      • Killing each of the stone creatures will spawn another nearby until the original ten are killed, at which point an Earthen Abomination spawns. Two minutes later, the process will begin again. The first 11 unique kills contribute to experience and towards vanquishing; killing the re-spawned ones does not. Like any unlimited spawning creatures, they do not leave a drop; the Earthen Abomination boss gives the morale boost only after first kill.
      • Completing Troubled Lands raises the kill count, as it replaces the Tormented Lands (10) and Earthen Abomination (1) with groups totaling more than the aforementioned 11 elementals required to complete the quest.
Bug Bug.Tormented Lands will spawn whether or not Troubled Lands is in the Quest Log. They only stop appearing after the quest has been completed, but you can safely complete the vanquish while ignoring any respawned foes.

Trivia[edit]

  • The re-spawning Troubled Lands was once used as an exploit to farm Lightbringer points: Players would accept the Elemental Hunt and walk away from the computer, leaving their heroes and henchmen to do the killing. This exploit was removed from the game by replacing the Whispers Informant with a Wandering Priest until the quest is completed.
