Notes[edit]
- Unlike Distracting Strike, no damage packet is displayed when hitting the target.
- Barbs, and the damage increase from Soul Taker or Order of Pain will not trigger.
- A hit is still registered on the target :
- Adrenaline (and energy if using a Zealous weapon modifier) is gained as usual.
- Scythe attacks will hit up to two additional adjacent foes (interrupting them and foes adjacent to them) .
- Adrenaline gain from Mark of Fury and Dark Fury, Blood Bond's healing, Soul Taker's health sacrifice will occur.
- Life stealing from a Vampiric weapon modifier, Avatar of Grenth, Grenth's Aura and Order of the Vampire will occur.
- Distracting Blow needs to hit for its interruption to occur. If Distracting Blow misses (due to blind for instance) or the user is under the effects of Illusionary Weaponry, the interruption will not occur.
Anomaly. The concise description is incorrect: the adjacent foes are interrupted but not attacked. Notably, you won't gain adrenaline from them, and Illusionary Weaponry will not damage them (unless wielding a scythe).
