Kurzick faction
From Guild Wars Wiki
Kurzick faction shows how much work you have done for the Kurzicks, and hence how popular you are with them. There are five main ways to gain Kurzick faction:
- Completing quests in the Echovald Forest region of Cantha, where the Kurzicks live.
- Taking part in both of the competitive missions (the Jade Quarry and Fort Aspenwood).
- Playing in the Kurzick challenge missions (Altrumm Ruins and Amatz Basin).
- Fighting in an alliance battle.
- Doing FFF runs or, Fast Faction Farming by repeatedly running the Securing Echovald Forest quest for the faction it rewards.
- Obtaining Blessing of the Kurzicks from a Kurzick Priest outside of most cities or outposts controlled by Kurzicks, and then killing mobs while in the explorable area the blessing was obtained. Price is 100
if you are Kurzick, and 150
if you are Luxon (50
for a bribe, 100
for the blessing), and the blessing will disappear if you change zones.
Kurzick faction can be traded to a Kurzick Bureaucrat for several things. You may trade 1,000 faction for one Amber Chunk or one Passage Scroll to Urgoz's Warren. Either of these will add 1,000 to the Friend of the Kurzicks title track. After gaining the first rank of the Friend of the Kurzicks title track, you may trade in 3,000 faction for a Kurzick skill. Learning each Kurzick skill adds 6,000 to the Friend of the Kurzicks title track. You may also donate 5,000 faction to your guild's alliance. This adds 10,000 to the Friend of the Kurzick title track. If you haven't finished Befriending the Kurzicks, you need to gather 10,000 unspent faction to complete it.
