- This skill reduces all types of damage, including direct holy damage.
- This is a popular damage reduction skill for farming.
- When removed with a damaging removal skill like Shatter Enchantment, the damage from the removal will still be reduced.
- If you are under the effects of both this skill and Protective Spirit, the skills will act on incoming damage in the order they were placed upon you.
- This skill can be particularly effective against Assassins, as many of their builds deal much of their damage through critical hits and rely on them for energy management.
- Assassin skills that re-apply due to critical hits, like Critical Agility, will be re-applied every time you would critical hit, but you will not receive energy from the critical hit through Critical Strikes.
- Some foes have an effect that applies when they inflict a critical hit, like the Rot Wallows' knock down. This enchantment does not prevent this, though you don't suffer the extra damage from the critical hit.
