There Can Be Only One
You deal an additional 30% damage to foes of the same primary profession. Killing a foe of the same primary profession restores all your Health and Energy, and you get a 5% morale boost.

You deal +30% damage to foes of the same primary profession. Each time you kill one of these foes, you regain all Health and Energy and receive a 5% morale boost.

- This Flux is in effect every April (UTC−7).
- There Can Be Only One can increase the maximum damage of skills that cap damage, e.g. Calculated Risk (PvP) can generate 30% more damage than normal versus foes of the same primary profession.
- This effect also increases primary Warriors' damage against some animal companions (including those owned by a character whose primary profession is not Warrior).
- This effect also increases primary Rangers' damage against most animal companions (including those owned by a character whose primary profession is not Ranger) and spirits (including Ritualist spirits and spirits created by a character whose primary profession is not Ranger).
- Regardless of the creator's or current master's primary profession, this effect also increases:
- Primary Necromancers' damage against Bone Horrors, Flesh Golems, Jagged Horrors, Shambling Horrors, and Vampiric Horrors.
- Primary Warriors' damage against Bone Minions.
- Primary Rangers' damage against Bone Fiends.
- Similar to the percentage of energy recovered through Elementalist attunements (except Elemental Attunement), the damage increase is rounded half to even. E.g. a primary Ranger using Power Shot with rank 6 Marksmanship on a primary Ranger target will deal 46 armor-ignoring damage instead of 45.5 (i.e. 35*30%), but a primary Ranger using Power Shot with rank 12 Marksmanship on a primary Ranger target will deal 58 armor-ignoring damage instead of 58.5 (i.e. 45*30%).
- In PvP arenas or formats where deaths never result in Death Penalty (i.e. The Crag, Alliance Battles, the Jade Quarry, and Fort Aspenwood), Morale Boost will be gained but not lost on death.
- In formats where consecutive wins are possible while Morale Boost are not possible (i.e. Codex Arena, Random Arenas, Training Arena, Zaishen Elite, and low-level arenas), any accumulated Morale Boost will remain on a character for the next match.
Anomaly.While a character deals +30% damage to all foes of the same primary profession, a character regains all health and energy and receive a 5% Morale Boost only when killing an opposing party member of the same primary profession (i.e. excludes non-party member allies, such as an animal companion, minion or spirit), which is similar in function to Bounty Hunter.
Bug.Under certain circumstances, the effect of this flux may trigger when an opponent is not killed. This has been observed to occur when damage would kill a player, but Protective Spirit prevented the kill.

- This Flux was in effect during July 2011 (UTC±0) and has been in effect every April since 2013 (following UTC±0 in 2013 and UTC−7 in 2014 onward).
- In July 2011, this Flux had a different effect. The non-concise and concise descriptions were "You deal an additional 30% damage to foes of the same primary profession."
- The name of this skill is the tagline of the 1986 film Highlander.
