- Roleplaying characters can map travel to the temple via the ship icon on the World Map from the any of the mainlands (Tyria, Cantha or Elona) after unlocking a port town.
- PvP-only characters arrive here upon creation.
- By crossing through the portal from the outpost for the Zaishen Challenge.

- It is the only place where players who only own Guild Wars Factions can take part in the Wintersday event Dwayna vs Grenth and the Halloween event Costume Brawl.
- The banners at the top of the stairs by the merchant feature the profession icons of Warrior, Ranger, Monk, and Elementalist.
- The inaccessible portal in the back of the temple seems to lead to Zaishen Challenge. (If you zone from there that's where you are placed.)
