Kahmu is an Elonian Dervish, a native of Vabbi, who seeks wisdom through combat. Over the years, he has drifted farther and farther north, matching his skills against all manner of challenges, considering no fight too small—or too large.
Once Kahmu arrived in Norn territory, he challenged—and bested—some of the Norn's greatest warriors, and his name became legend around the campfires. Some claim he is a spirit, others that he has been blessed by the spirits of his homeland, and still others that he is a Norn born in the wrong body. Kahmu only laughs to hear these whispers. When the hunting here grows stale, he will simply move on.

Kahmu starts with basic dervish armor, labeled as Vabbian armor but with its own unique appearance. Like most heroes, his headgear is hidden.

The appearance of his armor can be upgraded to Brotherhood armor using Cloth of the Brotherhood acquired from the Glint's Challenge challenge mission. It can also be upgraded to Deldrimor armor using Deldrimor Armor Remnants acquired in the Hierophant's Chest at the end of the Slaver's Exile dungeon.

Although a dervish, Kahmu does not require Guild Wars Nightfall to unlock. The disadvantage is that Guild Wars Eye of the North offers only 10 dervish skills.
Kahmu's default dervish skills are all from Nightfall; he can use them normally. But without access to Nightfall, you cannot force their use, although you can still disable them.
Kahmu is unusual among Dervishes in that he does not hood his head, which is considered a mark of respect for the Gods of Tyria among the Dervishes.
Kahmu's battle quote about 'killing you last' is derived from a line in the Schwarzenegger movie "Commando."
Kahmu's default weapon is a customized max blue Suntouched Scythe with Damage +10% while Enchanted, it cannot be placed into storage.
A duplicate Kahmu will show up as an "Elonian Dervish".
