ZMission?
Sorry guys, I myself am new to guild wars, and i am just wondering what exactly the difference between a Z Mission and Mission, or if there is any difference at all. Thanks. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 98.196.18.39 (talk).
- A "Zmission" is an abbreivation for Zaishen Quest, really. It's a grind-promotion feature, it's just a quest that makes you do a mission over again. Read the article, it should tell you how to get the quest if you want to do them. --Jette 01:16, 2 August 2009 (UTC)
- (Edit conflict) Don't know how to exactly explain it... a Mission is a Mission, while a "Z Mission", is a Quest, one of the daily Zaishen Quests, that asks you to do a specific mission. Technically they're not similar at all. @Jette: Doing something once a day is the exact opposite of grind -_- — Poki#3 (talk) 01:21, 2 August 2009 (UTC)
- I do it 18 times a day, one for each character. :/ --Jette 05:49, 2 August 2009 (UTC)

Getting Jin a pet
- → moved from Help:Ask a wiki question
Hero Acolyte Jin is a Ranger and by definition, with the proper skill (i.e., Charm Animal) can gain a pet. I've tried to get her a pet but have been unsuccessful so far. How can I get Acolyte Jin her pet?75.170.12.23 05:19, 2 August 2009 (UTC)
- Charm it. See Charm Animal for more information. Drogo Boffin 05:38, 2 August 2009 (UTC)
- What the Charm Animal article does not say is that if you have henchmen along, they will attack the animal being charmed since it will become hostile. It is recommended to flag all your henchmen a distance away from the animal before you let Jin try to charm it. If you only have heroes around, you could set them to 'avoid combat'. 76.164.111.57 06:27, 2 August 2009 (UTC)
- That should be obvious since henchmen attack hostile enemies in range. Drogo Boffin 06:31, 2 August 2009 (UTC)
- You can also get pets for all of your heroes if you wish, you just have to make ranger their secondary profession and have charm animal on their bar. -- Wyn talk 06:53, 2 August 2009 (UTC)
- Also I just thought of this but if you already have the animal in your Zaishen Menagerie then you can tame it there. Drogo Boffin 06:58, 2 August 2009 (UTC)

- One should note that if you are having your hero charm an animal, you need to make them do it manually. Open their hero skill bar by clicking the number next to that hero's name in the Party menu. Then click once on the animal you want them to tame, and then click on Charm Animal in that hero's skill bar to make them tame it. You can also tame two animals at once with two different heroes if you use the target option in the same hero skill bar and choose different animal targets for each hero, then choose Charm Animal on both. I hope that helps! --Dragon Nataku 22:57, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
Can't find my mini
Ok so my acc't is now 13 months old and still no mini. Is there anything i need to do to get it because i've already been waiting a month now
--99.249.99.187 14:45, 2 August 2009 (UTC)Geralt
- It's by character, not by account. When one of your characters is 12 months old, you'll get your first mini. --Jette 14:47, 2 August 2009 (UTC)
- Also, please note that if your inventory is full, the box won't appear, so make sure there's at least one space empty in your inventory. --Dragon Nataku 22:58, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
Can I re-take an abandoned primary quest?
I quit the primary quest "Welcome to cantha" and know I can't go anywhere in Factions with that charecter. Is it possible to retake that quest? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 66.165.16.30 (talk).
- Yes. Return to Dockhand Quangnai, positioned on the boat where you showed up in Cantha, outside of Kaineng Center. He should have the quest available. --Jette 18:37, 4 August 2009 (UTC)
how? cause when i try i'm always lvl 2 --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 207.155.56.184 (talk).
- It doesn't matter what level you are, just go back out to the Bejunkan Pier from Kaineng Center and speak to Dockhand Quangnai as Jette said. He will give you the quest again. -- Wyn talk 20:46, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

buying off steam
i bought my game off steam and no access code appeared how am i supposed to play my game if i was never given an access code where do i get it --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 86.0.248.8 (talk).
- If you didn't get the access code then you can't play. Now I'm not familiar with Steam so I can't say if it was a "proper purchase". But basically, if you don't have the code, you can't play. Try contacting some kind of "Steam support", should there be any.--Piippo 18:08, 6 August 2009 (UTC)
- If you haven't installed or begin installing Guild Wars via Steam, you need to right click on Guild Wars under the "Not Installed" section in the "My games" tab of the Steam program and click "Install game...". That will move Guild Wars to the "Installed" section where you can right click on it again and the option of "View game CD key" will appear. --Silver Edge 18:41, 6 August 2009 (UTC)

Transfering items
Is there a way that I can transfer items or money between my characters in one account? I heard that it is possible with the Xunlai Chest but I am still not sure.--70.245.146.192 16:23, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
- You just answered yourself. — Poki#3 (talk) 16:25, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
- Simply put the items, including gold, in your xunlai chest and they become available to all characters on your account, with the exception of customized items like armor, or weapons you have customized at a weaponsmith. -- Wyn talk 16:27, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
- All characters that have access to the Xunlai chest, that is. Each character must pay a small fee to initially access the chest, and it is not accessible in the Pre-Searing portion of the Prophecies campaign. --Freedom Bound 16:30, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

inscribable storm bows?
Okay so ive been farming UW for some time and have been trying to find a req 9 storm bow, ive found a few req 10's with inscriptions on them, but when i try to replace the inscriptions or take them off its as if they dont exist, yet when i ask my alliance members about the problem they've inscribed theirs fine? bug? glitch? answer me!?! --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.119.67.154 (talk).
- Does the description in the game actually say Inscription:? If it does, I have no clue why you can't replace or remove them. If it doesn't then they aren't inscribable. -- Wyn talk 23:06, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
- If they dropped from mobs in UW they are NOT inscribable. Only the final chest drops inscribable items. That said there are other places to get Storm Bows: End-chests in Slavers' Exile and normal chests in parts of the Realm of Torment, and those are also inscribable. I can say with 100% certainty that they drop from chests found in the Domain of Fear since I have gotten a few during my chest runs. — Poki#3 (talk) 23:52, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

Campaign Travel
--Princessoceanstorm 21:26, 8 August 2009 (UTC)I have a "Nightfall" character. I took the "Terror in Tyria" quest, and am now able to travel from the "Nightfall" campaign to the "Prophecies" campaign. I am guessing that due to game rules, I cannot travel to the "Factions" campaign now. When will I be able to also travel to the "Factions" campaign also? What do I need to do in order to do that?--Princessoceanstorm 21:26, 8 August 2009 (UTC)
- Return to Kamadan and take the quest Plague in Cantha and then you will be able to travel to Factions. -- Wyn talk 21:33, 8 August 2009 (UTC)
- Does Firstwatch Sergio not offer Mhenlo's Request if you come over from Kamadan? Given the requirements listed in the quest article, seems it should have been possible. I don't have anyone at that stage right now, otherwise I'd check it myself. I know, it's basically the same set of actions as Plague in Cantha, but Sergio is right there once you complete Terror in Tyria. 76.164.111.57 22:47, 8 August 2009 (UTC)
looking at the z stuff youve done
ey guys,
is there any way to look at the z mishes, bounties, and combat quests that youve done on the computer and then see if youve gotten the reward from them? thanks a lot -- david
- Open your quest log by pressing L. Active zaishen quests should be at the bottom of the list. But keeping track of quests you've done and given in is impossible - J.P.Talk 22:22, 8 August 2009 (UTC)

Recruiting Margrid
I already have Master of Whispers, but neglected to recurite Margrid first, can I still get her, and if so how, I can't find her execpt at the command post. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Marksh01 (talk).
- You can't get Margrid until you have completed the game, where she will be found in the Throne of Secrets- take the quest Gain Margrid from her and complete it to obtain her. – Emmett 21:18, 9 August 2009 (UTC)
guild allegiance
how do you make your guild luxon or kurzick
--70.233.30.4 01:19, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
- Go to House Zu Heltzer or Cavalon and speak to a Kurzick Ambassador or Luxon Ambassador. Pay them a small fee, and your guild will then be that faction. – Emmett 01:21, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

Recruiting Zhed Shadowhoof (Centaur Blackmail)
I saw Lonai, went through the mission, got to the end and the guard asks "where is the centaur that entered with you? Go and fetch him" Zhed is back at the command post, Lonai won't give the mission again so I am stuck. Suggestions?
--41.208.196.209 18:37, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
- Did you speak to Zhed in the Command Post before doing the quest? If not, do so, and then do the quest again. -- Wyn talk 18:52, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
- I think that's actually what the guard says when you're trying to enter the Kodonur Crossroads mission without Zhed in your party as a hero. Per Estate Guard Rikesh. He should be in the Command Post even after completing the mission, I think IP just needs to add him to the party. --Freedom Bound 18:58, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
FoW inscirable or not?
i have killed tons of mobs in the FoW and i never get any inscriable wepons. is it possible to get inscriabable wepons in FoW? i also want to ask if it matters what campaign your charachter is from. if your from factions and u goto some place in NF can u get inscribable wepons? if you start out in NF can u get inscribable wepons in factions and prophecies? --66.57.78.143 01:19, 11 August 2009 (UTC)
- You won't find any inscribable weapons in Prophecies or Factions unless they came from Locked Chests or special ones like the end FoW chest. The campaign of your character doesn't matter. Vili 点 01:23, 11 August 2009 (UTC)
compatible?
is this game compatible for the mac?
- Only when using a Windows Emulator of some kind. Guild Wars isn't natively supported for the Mac, and I haven't heard of any actual plans to port it, either. ··· Danny Pew Pew 16:44, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

--87.114.140.145 22:12, 11 August 2009 (UTC)
- The best and only advice I can give on Hell's Precipice is to take it slow. Pull groups and individual monsters when you can. The monsters are so closely spaced, especially around the Armageddon Lords, that it's really easy to aggro multiple groups at once. Don't get discouraged. It's doable, even with Heroes and Henchies (but you have to post them carefully). ~Scion~ [GRIPE] 01:15, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
Also ask your guild for help if you have one. Bring a longbow to lure. People with heros are usually better than henchmen. The Emmisary 15:17, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
