There is a reason you can't wear costumes. It's so you can immediately distinguish the class of your opponent, without having to even click on them. If everyone has one of 6 classless costumes, it becomes hard to tell who is who and what class you're about to face (not that it's impossible, but it still gives the upper hand to a team of White Mantle costume owners as opposed to a team of people who own no costumes). ‽-(eronth) I give up 16:57, 31 October 2010 (UTC)

Well, at least in dragon arena, it's not like it's really improtant what's the profession. Rollebeetle and costume already covers the model. So the only left is Snowball arena. That leaves us with:

• Dragon Arena: Any costume and hat.
• Snowball arena: Only hats and costume headpieces.
• Rest: No.

Personally, I prefer the cat ears over most of the other "hats" that have been given out over the years, too. And the other hats presumably don't have hateful feedback pages because the feedback page system isn't that old. If you don't like the hat, don't wear it. Simple as that. You also get free trick or treat bags, and the hats are also free. I've seen lots of male chars wearing the cat ears, and those ears are probably why ANet made the spectercles - for the male population because I don't know of many female chars that would wear those. That said though, I still do quite love wearing my ridiculous holiday hats. They're also being lazy and recycling items from other games. But still, that stuff about accessories. I've just been dealt a devastating blow. How can I hope to carry on with Guild Wars? I've just created two, superhot, identical, female rits (was going to turn them into merc healers - yin & yang - they complete me. Meow! Yeah baby!) and wanted each to have the Furrolicious ears and also the tinted glasses. They would have looked so hot that the Kardashians would have welcomed them into the klan Imagine my utter disappointment when I found out, the hard way, that they are mutually exclusive.
