Wintersday in July
Its supposed to be wintersday in july where are the npcs and the quests ? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:68.231.58.153 (talk).
- There aren't any quests, see the Wintersday in July page for more infermation. -- Gordon Ecker (talk) 04:30, 18 July 2009 (UTC)
I think the announcement should be removed from the main page as it was in-game. Lapibacsi 10:24, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
Trilogy
its my first time playing and a friend told me to get the trilogy because it was a reall good deal. so i created a caractor on nightfall but i can't go anywhere else. do i need to go through the campaign or am i not doing something right --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:66.11.251.111 (talk).
- You need to go through the storyline a bit, and at one point, when you enter Kamadan, you'll get a little pop-up bubble that says "To travel to <someplace>, see <this person>". Go to whomever it tells you to go and do that person's quest.
- For future reference, this question should have been created at Help:Ask a game question. Have fun. --Riddle 05:24, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
Just Wondering...
Hopefully I am in the right place. I want to play GW again but lost the CDS. I had all the games/expansions. Do i need to buy all the CDS again or just the latest expansion? - I agree we should have a link to it under the "Wiki Community" tab, but not now. GW2 is not out yet so most of the information there is purely speculation. Personally, I don't think they should have set it up until just a month or two before GW2 came out, because 99% of the edits are talking about "what ANet might do," with it serving as more of a discussion board than a place to document the game -- which, by the way, doesn't actually exist. As I said, though, a link would be fine closer to GW2's release. —Jette 07:40, 28 September 2009 (UTC)

Xunlai Tournament House??
After such a long time out it starts to make you think.... firstly have they pulled the plug on this on purpose cause the amount of rewards players where recieving to great? secondaly they could have just reset the code back to its original state (before the introduction of random predictions) and I'm sure players around the globe would have forgot about May's distribution knowing that we would continue to miss many months after this. thirdly from a buisness point of view im sure there losing money by letting this continue to fester in the depths of the underworld cause im sure like many other players i was buying extra copies of a campaign (i.e prophecies) and making another account to earn extra rewards from other accounts. Sad as some people may think that is, im 100% sure there was lots of players doing this like i said, and it dont seem sad when you then loaded up with like 400zaishen keys every month from multipul accounts. I would have contined to buy a extra account every month as well until i reached a unmanagable ammount of accounts. So assuming other players where doing this also and others where buying accounts for a legal way of earning mass in-game gold, im guessing at least 500 players (at very least) buying 1 account each extra every month at a cost of £10ish is costing them at least £5000 every month. Any views noted and any flames would be silly as this is only a view. All players want to see Xunlai back. So lets see it. - wait why am i the failure? i didn't farm the xth and making such broad generalizations as "all the players want to see xunlai back" is just wrong. im rather sure that the reason anet is not bring it back is because of people like you who used it to buy extra accounts so they could farm the keys from it which devalued zkeys.- Zesbeer 03:09, 27 December 2009 (UTC)

Guess I was wrong in my assumption on Tanaric's comment. Guess I didn't think someone would assume I'm am mentally challenged, by bringing this question up with a "non-maxed window". My browser window is always maxed. As I said, its never acted this skewed in the view for me before. Only since the changes for wintersday.
