Wintersday in July is a special event that occurs annually from July 24, 19:00, to July 31, 19:00 UTC (source).

In addition to the competition in Snowball Arena, you'll have the chance to collect a variety of seasonal treats by defeating monsters across the world. Some of the special items you might find during the event are:

With the exception of Candy Cane Shard and Wintersday Gift, these items will randomly drop from PvE foes for the duration of the event.
