Locations[edit]
Dialogue[edit]
- "This world is so vast that, at times, I have to step back and marvel at it. Our missions, which have taken us from the din of the densest cities to the silence of the unexplored, have painted sights I never would have imagined. I've met people as colorful as any work of art. This is a feeling I will never tire of, and I take a comfort in the knowledge that there is always something new on the horizon.
- Take a look around you at how many different people have passed through this place, all from different corners of Tyria. Do you ever stop to imagine the paths that led them to this place, the same spot where you and I are standing? It's kind of humbling, when you think about it!"
During Wayfarer's Reverie[edit]
The following dialogue replaces the above dialogue during Wayfarer's Reverie:
- "Have you heard of the Wayfarer's Reverie? It is a festival celebrated across all the world in honor of our travels in life. Take a moment to remember the adventures that have brought you here, and imagine the ones you will experience in the years to come. There are countless paths in life, innumerable places to see, thousands of memories that you have gained, both good and bad. Take this chance to remember all of these."
Additional dialogue that appears if your account has not turned in all four proofs this year:
- "You yourself have traveled far, even to reach this beach. I wonder though, if you really consider yourself an [sic] wayfarer of Tyria? This festival is an excellent time to forge new paths or retread old ones - bring me proof that you have journeyed across four regions [sic] of Tyria, and I will give you a reward worthy of the many roads you've walked."
- Here is the proof you describe. (With at least one proof in inventory.)
- With 1-3 proof(s):
- "This does show your traversal of some lands, but to confirm your adventuring skill I need to see four such tokens."
- With all four proofs:
- "I knew from the start that you had it in you! In exchange for these tokens, I can offer you a selection of Reverie gifts. The first is a rare weapon that will safeguard you on your journeys, but once you accept, I shan't offer it again. [sic] I have other items if your armory is full: relics from my own travels. These fragments of the mists [sic] depict a tale from beyond our Tyria. Choose one and may it help grow your own legend."
- What is the rare weapon? (Only appears if your account has never received a Reverie Gift before.)
- "We have seen dark places, hero. But sometimes in the darkness, you find a tool that will help you beat it back. This gift contains a random weapon recovered from the Domain of Anguish. It can never fall into the wrong hands, so once opened, that weapon will be bound to you. I expect that you will use its terrible strength to good ends."
- I'll trade my tokens for a rare weapon.
- Let's talk about something else. (Returns to the previous dialogue.)
- What is the Miniature Legionnaire?
- "A tiny replica of a Charr legionnaire. He's small but fierce."
- I'll trade my tokens for a Miniature Legionnaire.
- Let's talk about something else. (Returns to the previous dialogue.)
- What is the Everlasting Legionnaire Tonic?
- What is the Legionnaire Summoning Crystal?
- "This unique item will summon a Charr legionnaire from the mists [sic] to fight by your side. This crystal has unlimited uses, but because of the ally's terrifying strength, each invocation will cost a single skill point. Use this power wisely."
- I'll trade my tokens for a Legionnaire Summoning Crystal.
- Let's talk about something else. (Returns to the previous dialogue.)
- What is in the Legion Loot Bag?
- "This loot bag contains a random selection of combat-boosting consumables. Will you move more quickly, recover your wounds, attack faster, or receive a boost to your morale? Open it and find out."
- I'll trade my tokens for a Legion Loot Bag.
- Let's talk about something else. (Returns to the previous dialogue.)
- After selecting "I'll trade my tokens for <a/an item>":
- "Here you are! Enjoy the rest of the Wayfarer's Reverie, and may our paths cross again before next year."
