Hex Spell. For 5...17...20 seconds, target foe receives 20% less benefit from healing. If target foe dies while hexed with Malign Intervention, a level 1...14...17 masterless bone horror is summoned.

- The spell requires the target to leave an exploitable corpse; but does not exploit the corpse.
- Combine with Deep Wound or Lingering Curse to exactly reach the -40% healing modification cap.
- Verata's Gaze can be used to gain control of the masterless Bone Horror.
- Alternatively, if you do not intend to take control of the minion, Swap can be used to shadow step it away from your team (preferably in the opposing team). It also provides a suitable target to trigger the bonus effects of Holy Spear.
- Heroes tend to spam this skill regardless of whether the target or enemy group has healing skills, leading to several extra Bone Horrors per fight.
- Since the Bone Horror is created masterless, it will not trigger skills that depend on summoned creature creation such as Boon of Creation. It also does not gain extra max health from Spawning Power.
Trivia[edit]
- Possibly meant to be an "evil" version of the Monk skill Divine Intervention, which similarly triggers on death.
