The Panda was a charmable animal found in Factions areas, but was removed from the game prior to release.

• The panda was removed from the game prior to release because of local laws: in China you are not allowed to depict the death of an endangered species (such as the panda) in a video game.
• This pet is still attainable in the form of a Miniature Panda. There was also a full sized panda during The Fairwell Gaile event in shing jea monestery. See Panda (collector)
• A full-sized model of the Panda can be seen as part of the Red Frog quest, with the tracking pet Ling Wong.
• Other pets which have been removed or changed include the Crane, Dune Lizard, and the Pygmy Hippopotamus.
