Black Wolves are charmable animals that are native to the northern regions of Tyria. Black Wolves never relinquish prey while feeding, even if a pack member is attacked.

    • Zaishen Menagerie Grounds (levels 5, 12, 15, and 20, depending on unlock progress)
• Eye of the North
  • Charr Homelands
    • Grothmar Wardowns (east of Longeye's Ledge towards the bridge as per map, or south towards the next resurrection shrine)
    • Sacnoth Valley (in the central rocky regions, a possible spawn point being shown on the map)
  • Far Shiverpeaks
    • Drakkar Lake (a single White or Black Wolf spawns at the Shrine of the Wolf Spirit)
    • Varajar Fells

[edit] Notes

• In Drakkar Lake, if one of the wolves turn hostile, the entire pack will attack.
• Similar to White Moa, Black Wolves in Grothmar Wardowns do not turn hostile upon activation of Charm Animal nor can they be attacked.
• Black Wolves deal slashing damage.
• Unlocking cost: 1 plus 100 or 1,000 Balthazar Faction (Common, Tyria)
