Dune Lizards are large charmable reptiles found in most areas of the Crystal Desert. One can be found without having to fight, outside Heroes' Audience.

- These reptiles are one of the few pets that deal piercing damage.
- A variation of the Dune Lizard, known as the Fern Lizard, existed in the Beta Version of Guild Wars. It was found in The Northlands in Pre-Searing Ascalon. It was decided the Lizard suited the Crystal Desert better so their location and name were changed.
- Other pets which have been removed or changed include the Panda, Crane, and the Pygmy Hippopotamus.
