Beknur Harbor is the entrance to the southeastern portion of the island of Istan, populated by hardy folk tempered by the dangers of the southeastern lands and from many corsair raids.

Life in Beknur Harbor is harsh, but you won't hear the villagers complain. Surrounded by corsairs and all manner of beasts and roaming plants, these hardy folk still find a way to scrape a living farming ironreed in the local ponds and fishing the open sea. The Issnur Isles east of the village were once part of the Mehtani Keys, but years of silt brought in during storms formed land bridges, allowing the local wildlife to flourish and roam the region.

Getting there[edit]

Beknur Harbor lies in the southeastern corner of the Cliffs of Dohjok. The primary quest Isle of the Dead will lead characters through here. Nightfall characters are forbidden from entering this outpost until they have acquired that quest (which comes after the Jokanur Diggings mission). Non-Nightfall characters are not restricted.

  • Together with the Blacktide Den outpost, this is one of the first accessible locations where Nightfall characters are allowed a party size of 8.
