The Deldrimor Bowl is an area of relatively lower altitude than the rest of the Northern Shiverpeaks, hence the name. It encompasses the westernmost area under the rule of the Deldrimor Dwarves and lies closest to the human kingdom of Kryta. A Dwarven settlement can be seen in the western part of this area. While free of Stone Summit presence, this area is not without its dangers, as a large population of Shiverpeak centaurs call this area home.

Getting there[edit]

This explorable area will be traversed as part of the primary quest To Kryta: Refugees.

It lies to the northwest of Beacon's Perch and is along the only route connecting outposts in the Northern Shiverpeaks to outposts in Kryta.

Notes[edit]

  • Groups of 3 to 5 Refugees will spawn and move from Beacon's Perch towards to the Griffon's Mouth exit. They will attack hostile foes along the way, making them helpful allies (or additional corpses to exploit).
  • These quests will affect the spawns in this area: Hungry Devourer, The Deserters and To Kryta: Refugees.
  • Complete exploration of this area contributes approximately 1.9% to the Tyrian Cartographer title.
  • Vanquisher runs of this area without active quests require defeating around 185 foes. Including quest influences, it has been reported to range from 150 to 210 foes.
    • Shiverpeak Protectors are competent healers due to Aura of Faith. If your party cannot overcome their combined healing, it is recommended to restart and adjust builds/party since this area is full of centaurs with up to 3 to 4 Shiverpeak Protectors per group. Try more offensive setups like playing with only one healer.
    • If the Hungry Devourer quest is not active, Moro Stormcalf is the only foe that uses spells that can target your party, so avoid bringing Guilt and Mistrust.
    • Shiverpeak Longbows use Winter and Shiverpeak centaurs have additional armor rating against cold damage, so avoid using elemental damage, since your party will constantly be within range of a Spirit of Winter (i.e. destroying a Spirit of Winter will cause another Shiverpeak Longbow, possibly in another centaur mob within spirit range of the mob your party is attacking, to create another Spirit of Winter). If using a spirit spammer build, consider using Gaze of Fury on a Spirit of Winter.
    • There are two groups of three centaurs that patrol clockwise around the map. One group patrols the upper half and one group the lower. If you have not yet vanquished the map, running counterclockwise around the entire outer edge should reveal these groups.
Bug Bug. The resurrection shrines in this area do not always show the light animation of an active resurrection shrine:
  • Upon entry from Anvil Rock, the shrine animation at the Anvil Rock shrine does not work.
  • Upon entry from Beacon's Perch, the shrine animation at the Beacon's Perch shrine does not work.
