- Eye of the North
Drop and salvage research is ongoing, and can be found here.
Start from Yak's Bend and enter Traveler's Vale. There are several ice elementals to the north and to the center of the map. However the following farming road is a lot faster provided you can mule the icy lodestones.
Leave Foible's Fair and follow the snowy road up the mountain in Wizard's Folly. There's a cave with 7~8 lvl3 ice elementals on the way to the south (don't go near Aziure). You can kill 3-4 more around the Wizard's tower (not advised, unless you like walking) or go on after the cave toward the west (advised, 4 more close to the cave). The advised run takes 5-8mins and has 20 of the ~24 ice elementals in total on the whole map, all in the snowy landscape. They are highly vulnerable to fire, so using fire magic spells or the fire imp is advised. The farming route is also a good way to farm experience in Pre-Searing at low levels and get Enchanted Lodestones.
