Farming

Ascalon Foothills

Enter from either Diessa Lowlands (from Grendich Courthouse or Nolani Academy) or Traveler's Vale (from Yak's Bend). If you enter from Diessa Lowlands, use the Traveler's Vale portal to rezone and vice-versa. You can sell drops to Artisan Rudger to clear inventory space.

Dragon's Gullet

Head east from Grendich Courthouse then northeast through the Flame Temple Corridor, arriving in Dragon's Gullet. Head north from the entrance until you reach the tar pits, killing a few small Charr groups that are in your way. You will be able to see several Hydra as you approach the shore of the tar pits. Kill those and then head west around the edge of the tar pits to the northern section of the map and work your way east. There are many Hydra here.

Once you begin to encounter Abominations while you're working east along the northern section of the map, the Hydra are pretty much done. Retrace your route back to the entrance to rezone.
