Dual-Necro Snowball Dominance farming[edit]

This run is very profitable and only takes about 2 minutes; it's boring but worth it. Requires a primary Necromancer character, and one necro hero (Olias, Master of Whispers or Livia) to use as cannon fodder.

Rewards:

Method:

  1. As soon as the screen resolves, turn around and start running toward the enemy team.
  2. Disable your hero's Snow Down the Shirt skill and flag just in front of Allyn Brand (mid-left).
  3. Stand just left of Roland (mid-right) and then rotate the camera to face your own team.
  4. Preload your Hidden Rock (and Yellow Snow if available).
  5. As soon as Artificer Mullenix starts the "Ladies and Gentlemen..." text, simultaneously use Holiday Blues for both yourself and your hero.
  6. Simultaneously use Ice Fort for both yourself and your hero.
  7. Click on the hill/trees behind your team to run toward them, leaving your hero flagged in place.
  8. When Micah Fergson shouts "Charge!" (which is just dialogue, and not actually the warrior skill), simultaneously use "Mmmm. Snowcone!" for both yourself and your hero.
  9. After completely passing through your team, turn and run toward the EotN peninsula behind The Three Wise Norn. By the time you get there, your hero will have been KO'd and your own skills will be re-enabled.
  10. Stay near your Norn allies and throw snowballs from the peninsula area until the fight is over (Galbraum will usually charge into melee at some point, leaving Brartak and Helga).
    • SURVIVOR NOTE: Always avoid melee range and don't take any risks; the AI will often play itself to a win without you having to throw a single snowball! Never use Snow Down the Shirt unless an enemy charges you, and do not risk using Holiday Blues again.
  11. Carefully pull isolated enemies (typically Carlisle Gavenport or an Ebon Vanguard Soldier) toward your Norn allies for help with the final KO if necessary.

Hero Equipment: Rune of Minor Vigor farming[edit]

This takes 12-15 minutes per run, from character creation to character deletion. Is the boring grind worth it? Depends, but it's cheaper than buying them, quicker and more reliable than trying to salvage them from random drops, and also earns BCs which can be traded for ID/salvage kits, scrolls, Hunter's Ale, etc.

Rewards:

Method:

  1. Create a Roleplaying Character -> Nightfall -> WarriorWarrior.
  2. Take the Shortcut, then Quiz the Recruits and add Koss and henchmen to your party. Set skills for yourself and Koss, then save Chahbek Village. Accept the reward from First Spear Dehvad then accept Primary Training quest.
  3. In Churrhir Fields, talk only to Nahjiri (Expert Warrior), return to Dehvad to accept the reward and the new quest Honing your Skills.
    • Honing your Skills is only to let you into Kamadan, you won't actually do this quest.
    • You only have a sword and will only really be using Sprint, so talking to Nahjiri and Dehvad is enough.
    • Arrange your skill bar and put all points in Strength, you won't need anything else.
    • Use Sprint constantly and from this point on, you should only fight corsairs and ignore everything else. Let Koss and the henchmen do all the fighting; your job is to run.
  4. Enter Kamadan and go left to Mehinu (Armor), accept Armored Transport quest.
  5. Exit Kamadan to Plains of Jarin, complete Armored Transport.
  6. Enter the Sunspear Great Hall to set map-point, immediately map travel back to Kamadan and collect reward from Mehinu.
  7. Talk to Kailona (Rune Trader), accept Missing Shipment quest.
  8. Map travel back to Great Hall, follow quest marker to complete Missing Shipment.
  9. As soon as you see "Shipment of ink acquired," map travel back to Kamadan and collect reward from Kailona.
  10. Open a Xunlai storage account for the character, deposit everything in your F9 pack, press F12 for character selection, delete that character, return to step 1 and repeat. The same name can be used repeatedly, if desired.
