Like all quest reward trophies, the quests which provide them are not repeatable. This means each character can only earn a limited amount. The following quests have Battle Commendations as rewards:
Canthan or Tyrian characters only
Nightfall characters only

Double-click to salvage upgrade components and crafting materials (rare or common) from an item.
- Although they cannot be sold to merchants, they are worth at least 100 in trade, since you can get a Scroll of Adventurer's Insight from one of the Sunspear Quartermasters in the Sunspear Great Hall.
- Canthan and Tyrian characters are only eligible for one of these quests, and as such, can only get one Battle Commendation.
- Gold saved is gold earned, and since it only takes three commendations to purchase an Expert Salvage Kit with a purchase value of 400 , each Commendation would be worth 133.33. Or, even better, a Rune of Holding with a value of 500 , makes each Commendation worth 166.66 .
