Baked Husks are the shells of the Plague Worms that infest the fields of Ascalon. The husks are used as fertilizers.

Farming

Lakeside County

There's only one place in pre-Searing where one can find Baked Husks, and that is the northern field at the exit of Ashford Abbey which is infested with Plague Worms. You can kill some of the bandits and wolves first if you want to reduce loot scaling. Worms spend more time buried underground (they cannot be killed then) than on the surface, so you'll have to wait until they pop up. A damaged worm will however not bury or if it was planning to, it will pop up as soon as possible. Minions should be able to attack worms if they are underground, Deathly Swarm can damage several worms in one hit and the fire imp can also kill some worms for you.
