The Year of the Dragon marks seven sensational years of Guild Wars, and we want you to join us for our biggest anniversary party ever.

It’s time once again to throw open the Shing Jea Boardwalk, rev up the Rollerbeetles, and don our party hats for two weeks of festive fun from April 24th to May 8th. In addition to the usual games and gifts, we’re packing this party with drops and activities never before seen in an anniversary celebration!

We’re commemorating our seventh anniversary with a huge party in Shing Jea Monastery and outposts all over Tyria.

Are you light on your feet? Speak with Captain Li Sah and test your dodgeball skills in the Dragon Arena! Do you feel the need for speed? Speak to the Rollerbeetle Trainer and take a spin in Rollerbeetle Racing. You’ll find both of these NPCs in Lion's Arch, Shing Jea Monastery, Kamadan, and the Great Temple of Balthazar.

The fun doesn’t stop there. During the festival, keep your eyes peeled for more special drops than you’ve ever seen before. And be sure to stop by Embark Beach to talk to Ceira, Sworn to Fire. During the celebration, she’ll be distributing the limited-edition Ranger pet: the Hound of Balthazar.

PvE

Victory Tokens can be exchanged for items from Elite Xunlai Agent Isa Ku, Seiji, Sheng Yi, and Zaishen Supply Masters.

PvP

In Guild versus Guild during this event, the opposing Guild Lord drops 10 Birthday Cupcakes for each player of the winning team when he dies. To prevent exploitation, no rewards are offered if (a) the match ends after 28 minutes without either side killing a Guild Lord or (b) the battle ends in under 5 minutes (e.g. due to one team resigning or zoning).

Notes

• In addition to the drops listed above, bonuses from all weekend events are active.
• ArenaNet also posted Seventh Year Memories on Facebook and Twitter which are quotes from various developers about the development of the Guild Wars games, and their memories of the community.
• New characters wanting to charm the Hound of Balthazar must first unlock the Great Temple of Balthazar.
