- 3-30 are rewarded for Shining Blade Bounties.
- One can be obtained for every three Confessor's Orders given to a collector.
- Two or three are rewarded for guiding Courier Falken through an area in normal mode. Five or six are rewarded for guiding him through an area in Hard mode.
- Five are rewarded for repeating Auspicious Beginnings, A Vengeance of Blades, Shadows in the Jungle, or Rise.

- The in-game description of this item is colored white, unlike other consumables, which usually use a gray text.
- Invaluable when used in Remains of Sahlahja (The Desolation) challenge mission to offset the effects of health degeneration, allowing the Junundu's natural regeneration to take over.
- Bowl of Skalefin Soup offers the same health regeneration for 10 minutes, without the sweet points or armor benefits.
