Rangers and Paragons

Is there a possibility of tweaking these 2 classes? It seems with all the major updates, these 2 have been slammed into the corner and hidden in the shadows. Rites 05:37, 1 March 2011 (UTC)

Upcoming changes and features and Feedback:Getting started are the two pages you should be looking at, as well as the above conversations. It's better if you do the leg work before bringing an overly repeated question to this page. G R E E N E R 06:35, 1 March 2011 (UTC)
The upcoming changes and features talking about paragons and smiting monks was said so long ago I think it has expired. In any of the Live Team tid bits we've been given I haven't seen anything to indicate any other class balances this year unless it's the "awesome stuff we aren't talking about yet" thing. 122.104.161.156 10:57, 1 March 2011 (UTC)

Or it won't even be wanted if the schedule remains over 6 months per content update since Gw2 will atleast go open beta within a year. As with most games... a better use of time during that period would be making it "Legacy ready" ...whatever that entails... (if ya ask Jette and me, it'd be opening up some of the source, toolkits, & allowing private servers for mods). --ilrUser ilr deprav.png 20:25, 1 March 2011 (UTC)

Mission Completion Books

Why does it cost money for me to fill in blank pages from the books if I didn't have it in my inventory when completing the mission? Isn't the risk of not filling it in before the game 'forgets' I did the missions punishment enough? I don't understand why I have to pay money to fill in pages. Is it really necessary? 122.104.161.156 15:53, 1 March 2011 (UTC)

You get money when you turn the books in. A lot more than you have to pay to fill them. Wheres the problem? And it's easy enough to take them with you. It's only six books once your finished with the EOTN titles and the protector title for each campaign. And you can switch them out in between, only take the books you need for the campaign you're in with you. Then it's one book for Proph, Factions and NF, and two for EOTN. And if you can remember to fill them after you did a mission or dungeon, you should be able to remember to take them with you before you do a mission, and even more so for a dungeon. 84.167.242.27 16:06, 1 March 2011 (UTC)

Evennia

Hi John.. last night while i was doing Ice Caves (Mission) i realized something intriguing.. the words from Evennia an the end of the mission... this is somehow related with the announcement that she would be part of "something larger" ??? will somehow she hunt the Gods of Tyria and travel trough the Underworld looking for Saidra ?! or will it be more like WiK looking for clues to release her?! (P.S. - This is just some question that started popping-up from my head last night when i focused more on Evennia end mission speech) I hope that you already can tell us something John or at lease that you can say that will be more of less like i said. :P Eu Sou Deus 15:01, 02 March 2011 (UTC)

I think it's more related to her disappearing in Ascalon than anything else, though that'd be an interesting plot. -- Konig/talk 18:09, 2 March 2011 (UTC)
I think it has absolutely nothing to do with "recent events", and is just her being poetic about how much she misses Saidra. --'Mai Yi' {TC} 20:07, 2 March 2011 (UTC)
Would it be too cliche` of a Ranger-Stereotype to assume Saidra wore the pants in that relationship? --ilrUser ilr deprav.png 23:14, 2 March 2011 (UTC)

All I get from that dialogue is that she digs chicks, or at least she digged just Saidra. The though of that always put a smile on my face... Nothing perverted, eh? Well... at least not too much perverted, XD. Saidra is the only NPC I truly was sorry for when she died. I tried saving Saidra countless times, but this is not GW2, so I couldn't. Yeah, I think the original title was made with good intentions. People did something cool and unexpected with our game, and we wanted to recognize that. Unfortunately it involved rewarding and encouraging a very ... well, not ideal way of playing the game. I don't doubt the change will upset some people (as will anything that we do) but we have to be willing to take that if it means making the game better. John Stumme 19:03, 3 March 2011 (UTC)
Except that these 'some people' are about all LDoAs from before the update. As much as I appreciate your work so far this one thing was an utter failure. You devalued something which was probably the last admired title to something of Legendary Survivor level. 88.153.105.75 23:19, 3 March 2011 (UTC)

Colin emoticon or meme?

Hey John, in the Embark Beach interview with wartower.de you stated that you wanted an emoticon like Colin, at 20:50. However since we guys at guildwarsguru have never heard of an emoticon of Colin, we thought that you meant the meme about him (with the "Hey I swung a sword! Hey I swung it again!"), but we aren't sure. So.. did you mean emoticon or meme? Waar Kijk Je NaarUser Waar Kijk Je Naar sig.png 17:26, 3 March 2011 (UTC)

I could have sworn I saw one of him once, but either way - mostly that was just me ribbing Colin. He's quite possibly the nicest guy here, and he gets a little embarrassed about all of the attention he gets. So I did what any good friend would do: poke fun! If people really want to make a meme though, have fun with that. XD John Stumme 18:34, 3 March 2011 (UTC)

Selling Gameplay Advantages

moved to User talk:58.111.85.122
This needs more light shed on it before we jump to conclusions... John stated: "Having a one slot means that you can have one Mercenary Hero" which implies there's a 1 slot cap?(not a HUGE advantage) Clarification needed maybe?
...but to quote a random person on another page: ""the only point of this so far as i can see that is worth something is to have more than 3 heroes from each prof.. example u have 3 more necros, you can have up to 6 Discord/Sabway or combination. Powerfull!"
...Which one's the case? If the second is true, was it intentional? There's no specific notes on it. --ilrUser ilr deprav.png 21:15, 4 March 2011 (UTC)
Obviously you can have multiple slots, because they're being sold in packs of 3 and 8. This is not the kind of thing you need to clutter up dev pages with. User Felix Omni Signature.pngelix Omni 21:54, 4 March 2011 (UTC)
so options are either Extra heroes to fill in the gaps, or henchies turned to heroes. or some profession counter limit for heroes (max 3hero per profession per player). to keep the game balanced. If you ppl need money sell content instead. --Boro 10px‎ 22:00, 4 March 2011 (UTC)
This isn't anymore cluttering than the more trivial banter posted here Felix. Infact It's a question of whether Anet's staying true to their word...--ilrUser ilr deprav.png 23:38, 4 March 2011 (UTC)
Having 7 heroes of the same profession isn't an advantage; people can still play with 7 OTHER PLAYERS of the same profession if they want to do that without paying extra. Especially now with Embark Beach, it would be a lot easier to do. – NuclearDuckie 00:17, 5 March 2011 (UTC)
Thanks! You just activated my TRAP CARD. --> "However, Heroes in these last four slots will follow the "Order All" flag, as opposed to having individually numbered control flags. We still want to have incentives for players to fight side-by-side. Allowing a single player to extensively micromanage his team would detract from the greatest strength of groups: coordination.".
...is Coordination really the greatest advantage? Not according to anyone who's had to fight against Bots that have superior Micromanaging coding themselves to spam certain skill types more efficiently than a well-coordinated human team can. ...that's possibly the biggest advantage here that's only being made available here through Micro-transactions. Has Anet changed their stance on making gameplay advantages available through Mircrotrans? If so, are they even open to suggestions on how to limit the impacts of such? --ilrUser ilr deprav.png 00:28, 5 March 2011 (UTC)

(Reset indent) I believe that this is a gameplay advantage sold for money (I also think it's a brilliant idea on many levels; I tip my hat to the dev team on the creativity and implementation.) It's the only playable store-bought feature that cannot be obtained in-game or by purchasing one or more campaigns. Skills and pets can be unlocked manually; weapons can be farmed (or traded for); storage panes and new toons are added when you update your account with a new campaign.

The amount of advantage is in the eye-of-the-beholder: Mercs give Prophecies toons quicker access to an arbitrary number of heroes; they allow players to avoid re-kitting heroes (by having extras pre-outfitted); and they allow players to run an arbitrary number of professions. Under my current budget, I can't choose to have any of these things. All of these things would make the game more fun and interesting to me, but I cannot obtain them simply by playing the game.

On the other hand, I am willing to see ANet move another step on the slippery slope of micro-transactions to increase their revenue to enable more stuff like this. I would have preferred if there was a promotion similar to the xunlai storage give-away, allowing people to get one free slot.  — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 00:46, 5 March 2011 (UTC)

I'm confused by the implication that paying money for gameplay advantages is somehow unusual. You can't have 7 Discord heroes without buying mercenary slots, but (ignoring the recent update for a second) you can't even have 3 Discord heroes without buying three campaigns and an expansion, and you can't have any heroes without owning Nightfall or Eye of the North. The only major change that's occurred is that people with only Prophecies and/or Factions can have heroes now. --Irgendwer 01:50, 5 March 2011 (UTC)
Exactly, TEF. I'm not saying this is a bad thing. And I definitely don't want a huge discussion about it. I'm just saying we can't sweep this under the rug until these conflicting design goals are atleast clarified a bit... --ilrUser ilr deprav.png 01:55, 5 March 2011 (UTC)

It basically says (relevant to this discussion) that Stumme agrees with most of the posters here that Mercs are more cosmetics than about playability and that what little advantage they provide is similar to other things already in the game. Although his comments are well-reasoned, I still disagree with the conclusion.
I do agree with the other things he says about the feature: it's compelling, it's exciting, and it helps to make money. I think those are all good things. Some people have interpreted my remarks (and that of others) as being critical of Mercs. Let me repeat: I think they are great. More than that, I think they are an extremely creative idea far beyond most of the excellent suggestions that many of us submitted through official feedback. I'm glad to see them in the game; I'm glad that ANet will make money from them (and allow them to add other features as a result).  — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 01:45, 9 March 2011 (UTC)

Costume maker in Pre-Searing?

Hi, just wondering why this is the only area of the game neglected regarding costumes? They offer zero advantage over anything else in pre searing and are an item people paid hard cash for.--C Space Cowboy 19:19, 4 March 2011 (UTC)

"Hey little flute-playing 10-year-old girl, look at my dress! It's your wedding dress, which you will wear after your mother dies, your home is burned down, you're enslaved by the charr and you spend years fighting a hopeless war far away from home. Isn't it cute?"
The existing costumes don't fit into the time that was pre-searing. The wedding hasn't happened yet, shining blade and white mantle were founded later, nobody knew about Thorn, and even the god costumes seem somewhat out of place, seeing that the gods' avatars cannot be summoned in pre-searing. I think the decision not to allow them is a good one. Tub 16:45, 5 March 2011 (UTC)
People have known about Thorn, in lore, for hundreds of years I'm sure. And a simple mechanic of lacking avatars isn't a lore excuse like you were using for the rest. Just sayin. -- Konig/talk 19:21, 5 March 2011 (UTC)
I suppose marriage was a foreign concept before the Searing, too? We're not talking about cavemen here. --ஸ Kyoshi User Kyoshi sig2.png 19:48, 5 March 2011 (UTC)
I would just see at how it is in game now: there are 2 armor sets for every profession, and one of it has better armor. Everybody looks the same and wears the same - I say that a costume maker would improve the variety :). Also, wedding dresses aren't mutually exclusive to Gwen - Althea and Rurik were going to marry, so..--Vampiretrix 20:49, 6 March 2011 (UTC)
I would love to see a poll or a thread somewhere about if people would be bothered by a Costume Maker in Pre-Searing. Personally, I don't mind putting one there - if people have paid for something, I want them to be able to get the most out of it. The only reason I'd hesitate to put one in there is because Pre-Searing is, more than anywhere else in Guild Wars, a moment in time. I suspect a lot of people stay there because it's a little more sane than the world outside, and if most of the people there would be offended by Liches and White Mantle running around, I don't think I'd want to subject them to that. John Stumme 02:25, 10 March 2011 (UTC)
Whats really sad is that you know People would be butthurt about having costumes in pre-searing. "YOU CANT HAVE COSTUMES IN PRE-SEARING, IT MAKES MY BLACK DYED NOOB ARMOR LOOK LESS LEET!" Damn crybabies. --BriarUser Briar Sig 3.jpgThe Spider 02:59, 10 March 2011 (UTC)

I don't think that people that hate the costumes, won't buy them, and rather have noone getting them or using them anywhere near them should decide if those that paid for them have the right to use them or not. Those that bought the costumes are a minority, but hell, they paid for them so the Live Team can go on with their work. They earned the right to use them. MithUser MithranArkanere Star.pngTalk 12:17, 11 March 2011 (UTC)
I just would like to have the costumes there, and maybe the costumes that wouldn't make any sense in presearing could be left out. But now really all professions look the same because there's only 1 alternative set... and i've bought all costumes, it's only natural to be able to use them everywhere. Edit: always forget to sign :/ --Vampiretrix 19:24, 11 March 2011 (UTC)
costumes in pre-sear would just be incredibly awesome. Sure it would kinda mess with lore or something when people wear them but that kinda falls by the way side if there is a possibility to wear costumes in pre-sear. --Lania User Lania Elderfire pinkribbon.jpg19:30, 11 March 2011 (UTC)
Let me make the decision easier. I will, along with other people I'm sure, will buy costumes if they are made available in presearing. =] Perma-Pre People will still buy GW2 if you give us costumes. So moneywise, you guys win.Magicoverdrive 20:50, 11 March 2011 (UTC)
I don't think money should be the only reason to implement that - and it's only good that John wants the community to agree with it. But I don't think costumes will do much harm. As I said before, only 2 sets per profession are available so there's little to no variety at all. I'm tired of looking at all my clones! ;) --User Vampiretrix Sig.pngVampiretrix 13:15, 13 March 2011 (UTC)

while you´re at it, what about a hat maker in pre comming with the costume maker?[[79.206.252.141 09:09, 14 March 2011 (UTC)]]

I wouldn't like to see that added - there are no festivals in presearing and lorewise it wouldn't be right at all - those festivals didn't happen yet in presearing. --User Vampiretrix Sig.pngVampiretrix 17:47, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
Although it's true that it would be kind of annoying having people with things like those reindeer horns, dragon masks or the grentch cap, being able to use things like the zombie and skull facepaints, the tiaras, or the spectercles, at least for me, makes up for it. So I won't oppose festival hats either. MithUser MithranArkanere Star.pngTalk 17:47, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
Not a bad idea, and personally I wouldn't mind. An alternative might be to add an additional armor set in pre, one of the existing ones from post Ascalon but with the same armor rating as the collector armor. That way no new armor would have to be made but it would still allow another option for people to have for their characters' appearance in pre. User Nathe iconR.png Nathe 18:37, 14 March 2011 (UTC)

Embark Beach: Travel NPCs

Am I the only one who has trouble to quickly locate the travel npcs in Embark Beach when I just want to jump in there then move onwards to a mission? I would definitely prefer to have them stand a little bit apart from the rest of the group, to make them easier identifiable. --Cheiron 05:09, 5 March 2011 (UTC)

What he means is that they're apart form each order and suggests that they get relocated to a spot near each other, very much like the Zaishen Quests flags. --talk Large 06:58, 5 March 2011 (UTC)
The icon over their heads also isn't of any help when there is a wall between you and them. 24.197.253.243 20:06, 5 March 2011 (UTC)
The alt button does it pretty well, though. --ஸ Kyoshi User Kyoshi sig2.png 00:56, 6 March 2011 (UTC)
Well, that was exactly my point... first you have to figure out which direction the group is for the continent you want to travel to, then you have to locate the travel npc in the middle of that group (alt button). Right now it's often faster *not* to use Embark Beach. That can not be the way it was intended. Setting the travel npcs apart from the rest of these groups would definitely help. Cheiron 15:21, 6 March 2011 (UTC)
I'm just curious why the team didn't use asuran gates, after all, in gw2 they're said to be used quite a bit... - Lucian 15:56, 6 March 2011 (UTC)
I'm thinking lore reasons. I don't think there is a connection in-game (Or anywhere else for that matter) between the Asura and the Zaishen Order. --talk Large 21:10, 8 March 2011 (UTC)
And the less asura around the better. --Boro 10px‎ 21:31, 8 March 2011 (UTC)
In my understanding, the intent of Embark Beach was not to facilitate quick travel for individuals, but to allow easier finding of groups. Groups can't always easily take the 'faster' route. And that 'faster' route comes with a different slowdown for individuals: need to rebuild your 7-hero party due to party size restrictions in port cities. Overall, it's still a nice addition to the game and we'll all get used to it. 66.170.212.17 20:38, 9 March 2011 (UTC)
Actually, there were three intentions: 1) Reduce travel time; 2) Make it easier to find groups; 3) Become a hub for players. The third relies solely on convenience and the playerbase's (re)actions, which atm are not what was expect (for any party, considering all the "omg Embark's gonna become spam central" like comments I've seen). -- Konig/talk 20:41, 9 March 2011 (UTC)
I don't see them moving them closer, otherwise the traders around each travel NPC will be unused, especially if they're up near the Z signs, the closet NPCs will be used mostly. 203.173.152.57 21:03, 9 March 2011 (UTC)
We're making some changes to the outpost. We'll have the trio of Zaishen Signposts at each of the areas now (not just at the boat), and we're adding some more NPCs/expanding on the inventory of those there to make them more robust. We'll see if that helps things, if not, we might just poke at it again. John Stumme 02:23, 10 March 2011 (UTC)
I find it a little frustrating and inconvenient that the travel NPC's only let you travel to mission outposts. I would personally find Embark Beach more useful if I had a way to travel to every outpost. Perhaps new NPC's offering the difference. An easier and quicker way to get into places like the Vortex in Nightfall would be appreciated.Cinnamongod 12:36, 28 March 2011 (UTC)
@Cinnamongod click on Elonian Travel then Realm of Tormant then pick one of the missions done.-User Zesbeer sig.png Zesbeer 15:08, 28 March 2011 (UTC)
Thank You Zesbeer but I knew that. My point was that if I want to party up and do a DOA run I can't port directly to the Domain of Anguish outpost from Embark Beach. I have to port to 1 of the 3 mission outposts then port again to Domain of Anguish. Elite areas like DOA have problems with forming parties also. The same would be true for other elite areas like the Underworld, FOW, Slaver's Exile, Sorrow's Furnace, the Deep and Urgoz Warren. I don't need to form parties for most missions but would enjoy forming parties for the elite areas. I am confused as to why this was left out? Embark Beach needs an Elite corner too :) I would still greatly enjoy an NPC for travel to all other Non-Mission outposts. This would make porting so much easier without the fear of losing half of your party because of party limits on many early outposts. Cinnamongod 07:52, 30 March 2011 (UTC)

Vanguard Initiate

The ingame description does not state how much armor one gets, so I did a lot of testing and calculation. I came to the conclusion that it differs between warriors, rangers and casters, while each 'group' has three levels of armor (depending on the character level, just as the monster level). This armor is not added to the regular armor, it is a fixed value you get.

I'm writing this down because I noticed some oddities and wanted to ask whether those are intended:

  1. The armor boost helps against all enemies, in particular against the charr, which seems a little weird to me, since the armor boost is quite high and thus makes the northlands even easier for high level players.
  2. Some +armor mods are added to the specific armor boost while other are not. The regular armor, armor by insignias and the base armor of shields are not added, armor provided by weapon mods is though. Especially the non-working insignias made me wonder, because with the current state of the effect most insignias become worthless (except survivor, radiant, knight's and bloodstained).

Regards, –User ARTy sig.png 13:10, 7 March 2011 (UTC)

Yeah, these are side effects of how we had to implement the armor effect. It overrides the value of your armor and adjusts it to an appropriate level for the content - it's very similar to how Journey to the North works (and the quirks that come along with it.) Melee Hero AI Update

No this isn't a question about when it will be released. Will warriors for example when your fighting a dervish to prevent him from getting to your backline and there is also a bunch of "squishy" foes and normal foes with this dervish, will the hero Warrior go out and attack the "squishiest" foe, target a different foe, or just attack what your attacking? 68.84.38.98 20:32, 8 March 2011 (UTC)

If nothing else, I'd like to see them picking a new target that is nearby after their current target dies. Even just that would go a long way in helping them, because they waste so much time running back and forth from the player to targets. This one is in Joe's capable hands, so I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of hotness he comes up with. John Stumme 18:46, 10 March 2011 (UTC)

Speaking of pet AI, it would be nice if that shadowstep elite for pets wouldn't cause the pet to run back after using the skill... -- Konig/talk 23:12, 10 March 2011 (UTC)
Yup. It's rather annoying, and specially frequent when you have long and flat bows. You have to manually lock target before using the skill, or the pet will alaways come back, and it will come back, locked and all, if you are a step too far away, like when you get increased range due to height. Dear John!

Never fear this is a good Dear John letter! I have been playing Guild Wars for five and a half years. It was my very first 3d online role-playing experience, and I have fallen in love with the lore, gameplay, and my own character. I can remember taking a year for me to work my way through prophecies…oh what a year! Then I ended up in a great ally and a great guild, which are still playing together in game. I would like to thank you and your live team for working so hard for us little players. We are a small guild/ally. With the advent of 7 hero teams, those of us who needed to get stuff done can now do so, without having to wait for one of our other members to log in. *mutters about the evils of tax season* And before the trolls start commenting about pugs, we are a close group, and pugs just are not right for us. * Rage quitting whamo we are looking at you 0.0*

For my baby Sia, it means not having to grind nearly as much to GWAMM, a long time personal goal of mine. Finally so close I can taste it!

So, please know and tell your team for every nasty snide rude whiney ungrateful piss ant comment, you have a happy hunting partying grateful player enjoying the game to its fullest!

Regarding talk page, feedback, and so forth

Here's the issue, in a nutshell. Initially people occasionally posted suggestions on your talk page and you responded to them. This led to a snowball effect where people began to say "Hey, my ideas have a greater chance of being implemented if I tell John Stumme directly" and the posts became more and more frequent. Then in this section, a comment you made led certain people to believe that you (and by extension ArenaNet) were not even aware of the Feedback space, which is where users have been posting their suggestions for years. Now it seems as though the majority of users believe that their suggestions won't be seen at all unless they are posted here. This is a problem, and it's compounded because this is your talk page and normally users are the arbiters of their own talk pages. Unfortunately it's gotten to the point where we can't just say "If John is okay with it then it's okay with us," because it's effectively undermined the entire Feedback namespace.

Furthermore, there's been no real discussion on how to deal with this problem. Some users and sysops, myself included, have taken to moving obvious game suggestions off your talk page, but we don't want to step on toes and we certainly don't want to alienate you by zapping your conversations away. Other users (and one sysop) have adopted more of a "If you can't beat them, join them" approach, which led to a small wikisplosion the other day. I blame Libya.

Now I am of the opinion that we need to have a real discussion regarding what to do about the Feedback space, and it's of vital importance that you participate because the entire purpose of the Feedback space is to provide devs with a legal option for using player input. I don't think this problem will go away if we just ignore it. User Felix Omni Signature.pngelix Omni 23:00, 10 March 2011 (UTC)

Embark Beach and Zaishen Scouts

If you weren't already aware, there is a discussion here about how new players may find their way to Embark Beach and are lost. This is a basic summary of the discussion.

1. Allowing only level 20's, but this isn't the best considering "that there are a lot of areas, especially in Prophecies, where people will be < level 20 by design".
2. Taking the quest markers off the Zaishen Scouts or replacing it with another marker. "Hell, those quest markers keep getting me and I've been playing for four years."
3. Another "give the Scouts more dialogue, in which they answer a handful of obvious questions"
4. Another "add a popup message when you enter Embark Beach for the first time, briefly describing where you are"
5. A combination of 2 and 3.

--'Mai Yi' {TC} 21:47, 15 March 2011 (UTC)

Hello, John! I have a few little questions that the community might be interested in. A couple skill updates then GW2 Beta, i suppose.. --NeilUser Neil2250 sig icon6.png 20:13, 16 March 2011 (UTC)
The Live Team is independent from gw2 stuff in terms of release. -- Konig/talk 20:42, 16 March 2011 (UTC)

Paragon group-up.

I think I'm going to start a paragon suggestion group up on my feedback userspace (licensing and stuff), where I'll start to direct (herd) everyone who made paragon suggestions before. Of course everyone is invited, and it will have sublinks to either large-scale suggestions, and individuals' feedback space containing paragon's suggestions. I plan to discuss the basic role of the paragon, then as an agreement is reached, people there will start dissecting attribute lines and end with certain skills. It is also possible that we'll suggest new mechanics or changes to existing mechanics to distinguish the paragons even further (maybe the addition of ward-like chants), and deal with the cumulative effects of multiple paragons partying together. If you are interested in the idea, I'll post up a link as soon as I have fleshed out the structure and I have some content, and get better with this sickness I currently have. --Boro 10px‎ 20:27, 16 March 2011 (UTC)

Feedback:Paragon skill suggestions already exists. G R E E N E R 02:11, 17 March 2011 (UTC)
Would that really be the best place to do it? It could get messy and of course you'd have people wandering in with no idea of what's even going on, just posting random crap everywhere (including the front page!) just like in some of the other Discussion pages on what's supposed to be nice clean categories... I'll join Boro's "focus group" just to critique it. *grin* --ilrUser ilr deprav.png 06:43, 17 March 2011 (UTC)
Come on then! *grin* --Boro 10px‎ 16:31, 17 March 2011 (UTC)
My intention was to provide a link to a list of discussions and suggestions which contributors have already brought to the table. G R E E N E R 05:29, 18 March 2011 (UTC)
If your Focus Group proves successful, consider creating a User Box to help promote ease of traffic between individual feedback discussions. --Falconeye 06:13, 18 March 2011 (UTC)
Gimme a second I'll create a link section. Yesterday I could barely sit at my computer (was using my iphone in bed for trolling using the wiki) /edit/ Link section structure done. --Boro 10px‎ 08:47, 18 March 2011 (UTC)

Storage Pane prices

Extended storage panes cost 8.99 Euro per pane, that is an incredibly high price for a very small ingame advantage. Is there any specifix reason why you guys dont offer some (significantly) cheaper Storage Pane packages? Like with the triple package of mercenary heroes? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 84.48.54.60 (talk).

A while ago, they gave a discount on them. I bought mine then. Would be very unfair to provide these packs now for a cheaper price when others bought them for a lot more. 78.23.148.201 08:41, 22 March 2011 (UTC)
lol you just said you bought them at a discount and then you say it would be unfair to provide these packs for cheaper.. you realize you bought them at a lower price then the people who got them at the "normal" price?-User Zesbeer sig.png Zesbeer 10:38, 22 March 2011 (UTC)
I believe the answer to your question is serverspace --Lordkrall 12:02, 22 March 2011 (UTC)
i laughed out loud at that too Zes... --ilrUser ilr deprav.png 20:49, 22 March 2011 (UTC)
Some people consider it different to have a limited time discount and to lower prices permanently. Perhaps its alien to you, but they are in fact not the same. Either way, unimportant to me. -- Konig/talk 21:07, 22 March 2011 (UTC)
Questions about pricing of items in the store should be directed to the Community Team, not the developers. They have nothing to do with it, I believe it's actually the marketing department that takes care of these decisions. -- Wyn User Wynthyst sig icon2.png talk 06:21, 23 March 2011 (UTC)

We scared him off

Not scared off, just on vacation. My fiancé and I went to spend some time with my family back on Long Island, and to get some more wedding preparations done. The entire trip might have been a front for Lauren to go see the Pokemon Center in New York City, though. John Stumme 23:18, 28 March 2011 (UTC)
Good idea on Lauren's part, I know I'd head there first thing. Nice to have you back! Katherinezoltin 02:31, 29 March 2011 (UTC)
Welcome back! Cheers! Idmz 02:49, 29 March 2011 (UTC)
clearly she had to trade pokemons along with getting her pokemons healed GOSH JOHN.-User Zesbeer sig.png Zesbeer 05:02, 29 March 2011 (UTC)
Not only that, but the Pokemans multiplied. By the time we came out of there, she had gotten a plush Flareon, Mew, Lapras, and Minccino, along with figures for Chingling and Jirachi. We even ended up with starter decks for the card game to learn how to play it - we play TCGs from time to time. (I do a frightfully accurate Abridged Marik.) John Stumme 20:26, 29 March 2011 (UTC)
Aww! I love the little pokeplushies. I recently won a pikachu plushie at a Dave and Busters. My gambling addiction to coin themed games at least gives me plushies. Katherinezoltin 01:30, 30 March 2011 (UTC)

Nice update anyway.
