Each rank you gain as a Lightbringer will make you more powerful. Once you gain a high enough rank, you will be taught skills known only to the Order of Whispers.

Benefits

Hero skill points. 1 point for attaining rank (1) and 2 points for each of the rest, for a total of 15 points per character.

As you increase your Lightbringer rank, talk to the Seeker of Whispers in the Chantry of Secrets to gain the following PvE-only skills:

• Lightbringer (title effect, rank 1 - Lightbringer)
• Lightbringer's Gaze (rank 2 - Adept Lightbringer)
• Lightbringer Signet (rank 3 - Brave Lightbringer)

• You earn Lightbringer points by completing certain quests.
• You earn Lightbringer points by killing specific types of monsters while under the effects of the appropriate bounty. These bounties are given by NPCs at resurrection shrines and grant you varying amounts of Lightbringer points (depending on the region and difficulty mode) for each such enemy you kill.

• There are no bounties for Lightbringer points in Istan.
