New costumes. Gwen is finally choosing men. At least superficially. elix Omni 22:16, 18 November 2010 (UTC)

- So, where are the quests? I didn't see anything in the keep, nor in the HoM. Ironic that they added quests to guide people through and then added stuff that nobody in my alliance has found yet. 128.113.239.52 22:23, 18 November 2010 (UTC)
- Go out of EotN and theres an ebon vanguard scout telling you to find thackery in Kryta... I'll wait till someone finds him and post about it :D Zencow 22:27, 18 November 2010 (UTC)

- Checked that right after writing the above. "Check in kryta." I'd wager in North Kryta Province, but either way, that is absurdly vague. They didn't bother telling us which quests were added for their 'guide' quests either. Didn't they acknowledge that the WiK was unintuitive? So you're doing this bad that you need to release new cash shop costumes every other week practically?

- I don't think he meant the Keiran Thackeray disguise Joeyw. In response to the first statement though, the Hearts of the North costume set is only the 4th "group" of costumes they've released over the course of about a year. It just happens that they add the new GW:B content and costumes a few weeks after Halloween. Venture 23:15, 18 November 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah I really don't give a shit about "Ascalon's greatest hero" anymore if this is how Arena Net wants to treat us. They released two costumes on Halloween that were actually semi worth the money, now they release three more immediately afterwords. "oh please play our wedding content but you're not allowed to have wedding attire unless you pay us again."
- They should just stop working on this game and go work on their shitty new MMO 68.193.122.145 23:32, 18 November 2010 (UTC)
- They're going to release even more fucking costumes on Wintersday. Remember when Anet made armor without charging us for it? They actually released new sets of elite armor later in the game and it was all free. The BMP came as a BONUS if you baught an actual Guild Wars video game full of content. Now want us to sit through this shitty forced romantic drama but they won't release some gowns and tuxedos that were probably designed in five minutes. I would much rather have nothing than have to put up with the new Capitalist Regime Anet. 68.193.122.145 23:36, 18 November 2010 (UTC)

(Reset indent) "Remember when Anet made armor without charging us for it?" Key note: this isn't armor. It's costumes. Costumes are meant to be cosmetic, unimportant, optional stuff that you can get. Would you rather be charged for the costumes, which are in no way necessary to play the game, or pay for the Guild Wars Beyond stuff? I bet you'd QQ in either case. -- Konig/talk 23:50, 18 November 2010 (UTC)
- Anet never made armor for free. I atleast bought each campaign and the expansion. -- Arduin 00:34, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
- Too bad you couldn't get the BMP if you had bought all 3 campaigns and the Expansion before the BMP was released. Would have enjoyed not having to pay for it. That being said, it's not like you're cut out from experiencing the lore just because you're not buying the costumes, IP above seems a tad too upset to be thinking rationally. My fellow anonymous IP... I am disappoint. 68.144.77.185 01:12, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
- Konig you're missing the point. Whether it's armor or costumes they're all character models. We never had to make a seperate payment for our character models until Anet started this costume scheme. We used to pay 40-50 dollars for a full-featured video game, now we're paying 10+ for a couple kilobytes of character model information, or to change our names. - I would prefer subscription based yes, the dilema I always encounter is the following: GW=graphics I like, gameplay I like, pvp that (used to be) is great, howevery has sucky support over time ´. WoW on the other hand has great support and content updates, but I don't like the gameplay or graphics. Now if they made a game with updates like in WoW, but graphics and gameplay like in GW then I would be more than wiling to pay a fee. 82.169.222.223 12:36, 19 November 2010 (UTC)

Bug[edit]
It should be noted that currently, Gwen can bug and keep repeating herself for some players when they speak to her in their HoM. This has no effect on teh first quest, but it will prevent players from "finishing" talking to Gwen and the second item located in Majestys Rest will not appear. 71.60.51.218 23:53, 18 November 2010 (UTC)
- This happened to me when I had the Arrowhead quest active. Had no effect on the quest itself, but was annoying. -- Konig/talk 23:56, 18 November 2010 (UTC)
- I, personally, have tried restarting Guild Wars and such, but it remains the same. The first quest, yes, is unaffected but the second one will not appear.
71.60.51.218 00:00, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
- Is there anyway to stop the bug, I really want to start that second quest...
- From what i have personally heard, some people have fixed it simply by reentering their HoM. I, on the other hand, have foudn no way to fix mine. We will simply have to hope that ANET fixes it. 71.60.51.218 00:30, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
- Is there anyway to stop the bug, I really want to start that second quest...
I just went out and in over and over again and fixed it! Hooray!!!
- Very important! In order to fix the repeating bug, you must rezone into HoM repeatedly until gwen shuts up.--The Emmisary 00:39, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
Ya this "solution" doesn't work. I've re-zoned into my HoM about 20 times, and still I cannot get the second quest item to show up. John, is there any chance you could include this problem in the fix tomorrow? 70.50.109.82 02:03, 19 November 2010 (UTC)

It would also make no sense, Since he would have to past EOTN to get to slavers why not meet up with gwen? That would also be back tracking everything Miku and Keiran had done.
- I know its od no relevance anymore since quests 3,4 and 5 have been released, but in responce to the mos recent coment, you seem to ussume that thackery can only go through the same explorables as we can, is it not possible that he got a boat from watchtower coast since theres a small pier there to the jungle area to the south of umbrall groto, i think that some people think to latterally about these things and must remember we cant go there doesnt mean a NPC cant, :) oh well, WHENS THE WEDDING :)Spark-TBa 06:44, 20 November 2010 (UTC)

Oh and QQ some more. You had a bloody PvP update LAST WEEK. Sometimes, it really does amaze me how people can be so damn selfish and arrogant.
- Sign your comments. And whilst i do notice we had a PvP update last week, the point I, and everyone else who doesn't only GvG am trying to make is that the skill balancers are idiots. Oh yes, also, I paid for the games and expansion. I'm entitled to yell on this wiki about what I think is a waste of my money going to Anet. Rolain1 02:51, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
- Furthermore, because you don't seem to understand why heal party is a viable skill or why nerfing it in all formats is a Bad Idea, It's about as useful in PvP as Save Yourselves! is in PvE for dealing with pressure. Want Sy and TnTF nerfed too?. Rolain1 02:54, 19 November 2010 (UTC)

- (Edit conflict) "Oh yes, also, I paid for the games and expansion. I'm entitled to yell on this wiki about what I think is a waste of my money going to Anet." Technically, you paid for the original version of the game, which unless you brought the games within a week, you probably never experienced. You never paid for the changes and updates in game. You didn't pay for Codex Arena, you didn't pay for occasional skill balances (good or bad), you didn't pay for anything but the very original version of the game. Anet doesn't owe you anything. You got what you paid for, and then some. Also, I do believe that on most of the boxes, or perhaps its in the manuals, it says that the game is subject to change over the course of playing. :P -- Konig/talk 03:06, 19 November 2010 (UTC)

- Though Rolain I do agree with you on one thing, this last update was a big WTF for me, I mean if Empathy needed a nerf from a level 20 player how much MORE does it need to be nerfed for a level 30 PVE foe? Just curious why they did not see that logic when they nerfed it for PVP. perhaps a TK member can comment on this? Rogueonion 04:42, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
- And what about us PvE players that have nothing to do on these ostensibly PvP weekends? We just sit around and twiddle our thumbs? Give it a rest. -- Wyn talk 04:43, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
- "Nobody cares about crappy pvp lol."
- This is a highly ignorant statement, considering the last update was a PvP update. Obviously, enough people care about it that Anet puts time into maintaining it. I think you mean to say you don't care about pvp. Unfortunately, Rogueonion, the world does not revolve around you.
- "if Empathy needed a nerf from a level 20 player how much MORE does it need to be nerfed for a level 30 PVE foe? Just curious why they did not see that logic"
- What logic is this? That we should nerf every skill that's good on monsters too? If you're fighting level 30 monsters with empathy, that means you're in hard mode. I hate to tell you this, but hard mode. . . it's supposed to be hard. Empathy stayed more powerful in pve because pve is not pvp. In PvE, things are supposed to die very quickly, and Empathy makes that happen. That's not what PvP is about. ~Shard 05:42, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
- LOL Shard I am beginning to like you. You have no grasp of the sarcasm I was putting out. He made a rude comment first, I was just trying to put into his perspective that WE who play PVE do not really care about PVP either. So he had a full understanding that his way is NOT the only way. You of course grasped his opinion and in yours pve sucks, that is ok too. There are plenty of us who care about PVE and Yes I agree there are plenty of you who Care about PVP. Thanks, but I don't think that empathy being uber spammed by a HM foe is in any way fun, in fact it is so incredibly NOT fun (due to its OVERPOWERED STATE) that I would rather gouge my eyes out than play HM. However I said it elsewhere I will say it here again in case you missed it before. THEY DO need to go back and rethink that mesmer update in regards to Physical players as the anti-phys skills are ENTIRELY too powerful due to the ability to spam them which is granted to higher level monsters through the FC attribute/HM bonus that foes receive combo. - @ Mora. Why nerf "SY!"? So Ritualists can take the spotlight in DoA as the only profession mitigating and decreasing party-wide pressure and damage? And also just from the simple cast of a ridiculous Spirit? Yeah right. Ritualists have enough going for them. I say keep "SY!" the way it is. The way Paragons remain broken in PvE, Imbagon is the only thing getting them into PuG groups. (and I meant generally, not 100%, which means nobody should reply with not really ardan, see... ty) Ardangoeswiki 20:31, 20 November 2010 (UTC)
- My original post about hypothetically nerfing SY was to draw comparisons between Heal Party as a pressure mitigating spell in HA and compare it to the ubiquity of SY in Hard Mode pve. This was purely to explain to PvErs why people complain about skill balancing. Not to get into an argument about how to best beat not very challenging AI with broken skills that hasn't changed in years and likely never will. Rolain1 23:56, 20 November 2010 (UTC)

Costumes?[edit]
I cannot find any difference between the male dapper and formal tuxedos -.- Please tell me i'm not the only one that can't find a single difference besides the hat?
- I spent 5 minutes trying to find the difference. From the pictures there is absolutely no difference in the male suits. I'm not going to buy them just to find out if there is a difference though. My character wouldn't look good in a tux anyway!
- I didn't see any and a bit annoyed by it, took the deal to get them all thinking they'd all be different but it honestly looks like the males just get two costumes. :(
- There's only 5 costumes total - 3 female, 2 male. -- Konig/talk 03:30, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
- I don't remember which one is which, but one of them looks like the hat is slightly shorter. Also, compare the shoulders and the waist with eachother. One of them has gold plates on shoulder and the same one has a gold loop around the waist. Other one doesn't. Pretty stupid difference. Daeheru 03:48, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
- Females actually get four types: Finery, Formal, Wedding Dress itself and Dapper Tux >_> Really lucking out as male characters.
- Nope, only three for women, two for men, as stated above. For formal wear, men generally stay in the background, with only the groom standing slightly out. We leave it up to the women to shine, especially for weddings. G R E E N E R 04:49, 19 November 2010 (UTC)

Any chance of a costume maker in the guild hall - also I have been waiting for a top hat in the game for ages but this one is not very good because of the hair. I want to be able to wear a top hat on a female character but keep my long flowing BLACK hair.

Battle for Lion's Arch is now easier? laaame... Seriously, that mission WAS very hard and it was what made it so special, every time I did it I was sitting on the end of the chair and had my heart pumping all the way in fifth gear. Haven't tried it now but it feels to me that it'll just become another mission among the dozens GW has to offer. The difficulty was reduced in order to allow people to get to the new Keiran content, since that's necessary to be beaten. Previously it was the end of the chapter, I suppose. -- Konig/talk 04:36, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
- I've completed it on 5 characters the way it was. While it wasn't simple, and we had many false starts, it was possible to do it with as little as 2 people and 4 heroes. I don't know why they feel they had to dumb it down. That's really disappointing. -- Wyn talk 04:41, 19 November 2010 (UTC)

- I did it with Warrior, but I won't tell you that. Things can get frustrating. While it probably can be considered easier than before, it's still not a cake walk imo. - As always, awesome advice. It's just annoying when you make it all the way to the end, spend 45 minutes only to find out the enemy monk has unlimited energy and despite 6 human players battling him for 10 minutes straight you've done exactly "0" damage. And I love the well thought-out comment of 6 warriors - I think I lost brain cells reading that pile of crap. - Did BFLA on 18 toons (2 warriors). As warrior I used 100b tank hybrid and led the group both times. Great fun! Party composition was important. It has been awhile, but I probably chose sos rit, healer/seed monk, panic mesmer, curse/mm hybrid nec, and dmg ele. Try to get the most out of the friendly npc's. With 1 of the warriors an ele rage quit ("NPC's suck!" disconnect) because I was doing things like saving the archers and positioning the fight among our npc's. We did fine without the ele. There is 1 hex heavy enemy group. So do not whirl if empathy and insidious parasite are stacked on you. The last enemy group doesn't even attack Salma. I never had a problem with that monk ever. The only problem group was the first heavy jade cloak/perfected group. That part is a little frantic and requires that people are on the ball. 184.36.150.233 20:09, 19 November 2010 (UTC)

(Reset indent) Lol, seeing as mesmers look so evident I might point one or two persons in the general direction of Expel Hexes, among others. And I personally always have a warrior henchie or hero, pretty much don't leave home without Devona. Also: If you can't deal damage as a war you're probably doing it wrong, because they DO still kick ass and I never cease to be surprised whenever I play mine - VileLasagna 20:23, 19 November 2010 (UTC)

- Oh yes, I have met massed wind riders, they're horrible for everyone, though, as they also have mass cry of frustration. It was what prompted me to go as far as Expel Hexes on a hero, really, since it's overkill for almost everywhere. But to that, I will answer with mass Mursaat Mesmers on Ice Floe, and THEIR game is spamming Power Leak on your monks. Horrible = very yes. Generally speaking, most of the places I have trouble with, I do so because said places have troublesome mesmers - VileLasagna 21:12, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
- Hex removals are fine when paired with panic. And the only really tough group (because it has very good AoE damage) is the Perfected Aegis one. RazoR39999 20:48, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
- Every other class is ridiculously easy in GW, it's only warrior's that are a challenge at all; probably the reason I like mine the most. But you have a choice (other than vaguely hinting at some random build (oh hai, I take a 100b hybrid - yeah wicked advice right there, umm 1/8 skills, tks)), you're a tank or a damage dealer. I can make it through the battle as either, it's only the ending that's pointless. It's the elitism of PuGs and PvP that turns most people away from GW; when the devs jump on that same ship ("Imma kill people hehehehe" for a quote) it just puts a nail in that coffin. Either way, it was only a vent, I expect 0 help, pretty much what I've seen displayed anyways. Ghosst • Talk •
- There's challenge in every class (maybe other than necro), but to the point of BLA - as melee you're both a damage dealer and tank at the same time for this particular quest. You don't even need any defensive skills (maybe just IAU) as long as you manually cast Prot Spirit from your hero (and SoA if you brought it) on yourself before the mobs coalesce near the stairs. Flag the heroes just a bit beyond the edge of your aggro circle and once the first melee mobs start hitting you, go to town on them, just don't move. The archers and Ebon Falcons also help greatly, so put Life and Rejuvenation on one of the heroes (probably the same one bringing Splinter Weapon) so there's some passive AoE healing for them as well. If you're gonna use any cons (not really needed unless you're bringing in a full hero/henchman team, and not even essential then), Grail of Might is usually enough, but you can pop all 3. (reset indent) I haven't found a challenge in any class except for warriors - they're dervishes without benefits from enchants, no energy regen, and totally dependant on adrenaline which can be shutdown is seconds. Look at Mano-O-Norn-O; just bind him and he's useless. Blind a dervish, their enchants will still cripple, cut, blind, or worse and removing them just makes the dervish healed and full of energy. Really, warriors are brutal to play, but still do-able. But back onto the topic ... if you are that good, run people through this mission for 100K - I'll bet if you can actually do it, you'll have 1000K plus by the end of the day. Ghosst • Talk •
- I'm willing to bet that a 600-based strategy (duo, trio, or four-man) can do it in HM. I haven't tried it, since I haven't done any of the WiK, but I bet it's runnable. I don't think anyone would pay 100k for it, though. — Raine Valen 1:03, 20 Nov 2010 (UTC)
- Actually, after looking at it, it'd be tougher than I thought. The combination of WotP, ints, weakness (fucks up SoA), Shattering Assault and Reaper's Sweep, and dev hammer make it... difficult. One option would be to take the Slaver's approach, and drain the mobs' energy with Visage (thus preventing WotP and dangerous attack skills, if done properly) under Mantra of Resolve before wiping the mobs via dual spirit turrets and/or HW/Famine, and eventually EoE. Only thing is that it would require 4 players, at the very least (600, QZ, spirits), meaning that the gains would have to be split. — Raine Valen 1:31, 20 Nov 2010 (UTC)

Unfortunately for the elitists, I found a way to run it as a warrior, I'll add it later to BfLA talk page. Thanks for the giggles though, PvPers who talk but not act are always amusing. War in Kryta Quest Bug?[edit]
Several people in my alliance were complaining tonight that, after the update, they could not receive further quests in the main WiK quest line. Specifically, they couldn't get "A little Help from above." I myself just tried to get it (finished Riverside Assassination on a char that had it in quest log BEFORE the update, took the reward for it) and Salma will not offer any further quests. I rezoned several times with no change. Am I missing something? Or is this a bug possibly introduced by the update? Captain Bulldozer 04:50, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
- You are not the only one. There is a thread on Guild Wars Guru about this subject. Game Bugs Thread --Unlucky Slayer 05:00, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
- Definitely bugged. Before the update, I had completed only one of the "Wanted: Inquisitor X" quests, and had the other two in my log, and completed them after I logged in. After that, Salma wasn't offering any quests. I figured I had missed something. Went back to Eye of the North, went outside and saw the scene with Evennia and the Ebon Vanguard, so I figured that was it. Watched the scene. Went back to Lion's Arch Keep, saw the Ebon Vanguard and Princess Salma scene. Still no quests. Went back to the Shining Blade camp, nothing. Wandering around Lion's Arch I found the guy offering the "War in Kryta" quest, which I picked up. It told me I had to do the Inquisitor quests. Went back in the keep, no quests. I already did them, but I don't get credit for it, but I can't redo them to get credit. :-/ Daedelus 05:08, 19 November 2010 (UTC)

Truth[edit]
You shove Keiran into the story, he has absolutely nothing to do with anything in the world. You kill off Langmar who has infinitely more plot significance and has more to do with Gwen's storyline, not too mention Gwen has now completely disrespected the sacrifice she made. Now you propose that your female character can only be a heroic savior of Ascalon and establish Ebonhawk if she gets married to your useless and irrelevant character Keiran. Oh and now you want us all to see how tragic Keiran's story is because you want everyone to like him or something. Arena Net, you are destroying Guild Wars. Please halt all work on it and file for bankruptcy or something. Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ аІiсә ѕνәи Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ 05:34, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
- I really do not get you. You complain about new characters, yet Langmar was a new character. There's a reason given why Thackeray wasn't around in EN (along with the Ebon Falcons), though it seems no one who's found it has placed it up on the wiki yet (hint: It's part of The War in Kryta). He is not irrelevant, he is not useless. Sure, he was originally put in haphazardly, but he now has about as much exposition as Devona, Eve, Aidan, and Cynn (not really Mhenlo though), if not more so for Eve. You've been singing the same song so long, it has become a noise. Your reasoning for hating new content is flawed. You just wanted Gwen for yourself, admit it. -- Konig/talk 05:41, 19 November 2010 (UTC)

- Anton: carries three swords for his family, his village, and his honour after they were killed when the Charr betrayed a deal he made with them. Good story. Gwen: suffered slavery, rebellion, and now is a captain. Good story. Good story. - "You shove Keiran into the story, he has absolutely nothing to do with anything in the world." Really? Nothing to do with anything? I'm pretty sure his descendant is a pretty important character in Guild Wars 2. But yeah, you're right, that's stupid. Why would they want to add new story content to Guild Wars to help bridge the gap between the games? What a terrible idea. - Daedelus 06:15, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
- He's a bit right about Gwen only being useful as a genetic vessel though. elix Omni 05:45, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
- It's like the only reason you play Guild Wars is to find something to complain about. --Musha 05:42, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
Here's what i expect: Miku is a sin, Miku is traveling with Thackeray, the new stuff is going to be in Cantha, sins are from Cantha, they said the wedding will bridge into the Cantha stuff, they gave Thackeray and Miku new skills. Thackeray and Miku are gonna meet you and travel to Cantha and resolve whatever conflict is there. They will travel with you as really awsome allies. Miku might also be the new promised Hero. 173.32.190.24 13:43, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
- @Alice or Sven: Feeling important do you? I don't think you are even able to do it better. Thereby, ArenaNet knows how to write a good story, deal with it or cry in a corner. -- Cyan 15:38, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
- I also agree that Langmar was much more "juicy" in terms of content than Thackeray, although for me Little Mouse lost its shine after the fall of Ascalon and her greatest achievement in Eye of the North was providing Pyre with opportunities to be awesome (which he made very good use of). But aNet HAS doe worse. War in Kryta is a very very bad joke in terms of content, really. Both from the mantle side, who degenrated from the saviours of Kryta to fourth rate villains who eat babies from breakfast as well as from the Shining Blade, led by this entirely random figure, Salma, who aNet thinks we should give a shit about. Except Kryta is backwater to the middle of nowhere and Salma's only real value is giving out "Hallable" quest rewards through medals and gifts. Yes this is kinda bad and lame but we players have been through much much worse when we took our heads out of mindlessly farming ectos and found the scenario being forcibly brought to collapse to conform to ill generated content that does not fit an already well stablished and developed environment - VileLasagna 16:35, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
- Alice, let her go. Believe me, I know it's hard - I used to be where you are, and the only reason one would get this upset about this story is because one wanted to have their own character with Gwen instead of the one Anet's given us. I'll admit I didn't like Kieran at first, but he's come along a bit over the past year, and even more so now with the new content. Growing up, as it were. So I'm fine with him being with Gwen, and you should be, too. Find someone else for your character to be with, it isn't that hard. Holding onto this is just going to twist you in knots over what is ultimately nothing.

- That aside, I was wondering if anyone could explain what Konig meant about Kieran's initial absence in EotN being explained in WiK, as I don't remember it. But I might have just missed it when I went through. Thanks! --Nathe 16:54, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
Bugs[edit]
Bugs, feel free to edit this to fit your "style".
- In the Hall of Monuments Gwen will gladly give you as many Keiran's Bows as you ask for and when you get to a full inventory, there is no indication that you can no longer get one. No error message is shown, like "Your inventory is full." or similar.
- Is it just me or is complaining about this bug kind of like going to the doctor, poking yourself in the eye, and then telling the doctor it hurts when you do it? I mean, it's a good thing to tell Anet about bugs, but why the H.E. Double hockey-sticks, would you want to keep asking Gwen for Keiran's bow, enough so that you fill your inventory? Just curious.
- Poisonous water in Majesty's Rest is no longer poisonous.
- Even if the world has favor, kneeling at the Statue of Balthazar in Majesty's Rest does nothing.
- After the update, Wanted: Inquisitor Lashona became available to me again, even though I had finished BFLA. However, once I completed it, I could not turn it in and get a reward for it. Salma did not have a quest reward icon, nor did she provide the reward dialogue.Moiax 17:23, 19 November 2010 (UTC)

To the Dev/Localization team : Language issues[edit]
Hi, being a localization engineer myself, I cannot help but wanting to resolve this.
These issues seem more and more common as new content is added, here's a little list of what I have spotted so far:
(Oh yes, btw, this is for French, I have no idea about the other languages)
- In Jade Quarry: "...nous ennemis..." instead of "...nos ennemis" -> personal pronoun instead of a possessive (think: 'we' instead of 'our')
- In Underworld: All of Frozenwind dialog regarding the Nightman is still in English
- In Underworld: Dhuum speaks both French and English (for all the good that does him XD), something along the lines of "You cannot defeat death" and "Dhuum rit de vos efforts"
- Hearts of the North: well, I can't say that all the content is in English but let's face it: 99% is.
I mean quest names, questbook entries, dialogs, everything. (though the first mission button when we talk to the pool is localized, as well as Kieran's skill and weapon).
I know what you guys are going through, well at least as far as localization goes, and you've done a terrific job so far, but please look into this. As you can notice, I have absolutely no problem with English, but it's ruining the experience for many of my guildies who only speak French and who are rushing through without understanding what's going on.
Ps: I can't wait to see Gwen in her wedding dress <3<3<3<3 Great content you gave us here ^_^
Pps: If screenshots are needed, or if you know where I can report this matter so it's resolved faster, feel free to answer here or on my talk page.

Meredy Redleaf 13:22, 19 November 2010 (UTC)- God, that's a beautiful language. Blood Red Giant Mani Mortus 13:52, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
- I find myself more attracted to Italian. (Yet again, I'm a French native, so probably biased ^^) Meredy Redleaf 14:13, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah Mortus, isn't it ?

- English is the lingua franca of internet, I'm amazed at people playing online games, without having some basic knowledge of English.RazoR39999 17:06, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
- Well, but some people prefer to have the games in their native language and that is fine too. That is a relatively distant topic to me, though, since localizations to MY native language have left me with many a trauma and nowadays I very much prefer English whenever we're talking about computers, games and other "digital and electronic" subjects, avoiding localized content like it's the plague - VileLasagna 17:11, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
- Isn't this in the wrong spot? I know when I put something in the wrong spot I got trolled by the "wiki clique" so be warned you might get trolled for putting this in the wrong spot. That is of course unless you are one of the only 5 people who know how to play this game. Rogueonion 17:23, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
- Well, the people you want to look at this will probably not get it here. But at Feedback:Localization bugs you have a better chance. --JonTheMon 18:03, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
- Note that the first reply already explained to go to the localization bug page, and the second reply acknowledged it. - Tanetris 04:11, 20 November 2010 (UTC)
