Farming

The Black Curtain

Head south from Temple of the Ages towards the portal to Kessex Peak. The area around the portal contains about 12-18 Forest Minotaurs with another 6-10 east of the portal. Use the portal to rezone. If War in Kryta is active, most of the Forest Minotaur spawns will be replaced with Peacekeepers that also kill any Forest Minotaurs they aggro.

Talmark Wilderness

There are a lot of Forest Minotaurs around Dakutu Village/Shining Blade camp. Use Artisan Sivan (and/or William Stafford if War in Kryta is active) to sell drops. Use Tears of the Fallen to rezone. See the map for general routes, Minotaur spawns are marked. The route consists mostly of Forest Minotaurs except for 2 Ancient Oakhearts which you can evade if you want to and the occasional pop-up of a single Fog Nightmare. Occasionally the boss Muu Swifthorn spawns at the marker. Besides the groups marked on your map, there are 2 patrols of 2 Forest Minotaurs walking clockwise around both hills. An average run yields about 8 horns.
